Since 2021,research on the Metaverse has been concerned,and the application of the Metaverse in the field of education has also received attention.The application of the Metaverse in education will reshape elements such as teaching resources,learning communities,learning contexts,and technical support,providing learners with an immersive and realistic three-dimensional learning environment,building a functioning ecosystem that serves education and teaching,it also provides a new path for the knowledge acquisition,skill exercise,and the cultivation of literacy.The Metaverse learning environment can be seen as learning environment based on the Metaverse.Starting from the theoretical and practical research of the Metaverse and its application in education at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the constituent elements of the Metaverse learning environment.It also analyzes the path and effectiveness of achieving learning objectives under the Metaverse learning environment.The paper mainly includes two aspects:(1)Combing the theory,technology and practice cases related to the application of the Metaverse,including four key technologies of Metaverse,Metaverse platforms and functions,Four types of intelligent hardware equipment and their educational application forms,and the construction and application cases of the Metaverse environment;(2)Based on the national regulations on learning objectives and the classification of learning objectives by relevant scholars,this paper divides learning goals into 3 primary indicators,8 secondary indicators,and 29 tertiary indicators.It analyzes the advantages of the Metaverse environment and the path to achieve learning objectives from the perspective of goal realization,and summarizes the verification of existing relevant experiments on the achievement of educational objectives.An experiment was designed with VR helmet as the equipment,experience resources,training resources,and "teacher teaching+independent inquiry" as the teaching organization form,which verified the effectiveness of the Metaverse environment on procedural knowledge acquisition and aesthetic ability improvement.Finally,from the perspective of resources,equipment,platform and other elements in the Metaverse learning environment,this paper combs the relationship between them and learning objectives.It constructed the correlation between the constituent elements of the Metaverse learning environment and educational goals,and verified the effectiveness of procedural knowledge acquisition and aesthetic ability improvement in the Metaverse learning environment through experiments,proving that the Metaverse learning environment has the potential to achieve various learning objectives.
