Virtual reality technology has been widely used in higher vocational education.Its interactive and imaginative characteristics are conducive to stimulate the learning interest of vocational students,enhance learning experience and improve learning effect,and also help overcome the high cost and difficulty of constructing real working scene.But the integration of virtual reality technology and teaching is not deep enough,and there are also some problems such as lack of effective teaching strategy guidance.It is necessary to explore the effective teaching strategy design and use methods of virtual technology application.Teaching strategies and their different forms have different effects on virtual learning effect.The teaching strategies with support function such as advance organizers,teaching interpretation and teaching demonstration can promote students’ learning.In order to further explore the effectiveness of the above strategies in virtual learning of vocational students,the research is based on cognitive load theory,constructivism theory and production theory.The virtual learning effect of 198 vocational students in Guangdong Province is studied by means of experimental research and questionnaire survey.Through three series of experiments,the paper explores the virtual learning environment of desktop virtual reality,The influence of the leading organizer(video type,picture type,none),teaching interpretation(example type,description type,none)and teaching demonstration(video demonstration,field demonstration,none)on the virtual learning effect of vocational college students,taking learning achievement,cognitive load and learning satisfaction as observation variables of Virtual Learning effect.The results show that the scaffolding teaching strategies such as the leading organizer,teaching interpretation and teaching demonstration can improve the virtual learning effect,which can improve the learning achievement and learning satisfaction,and reduce the cognitive load.There are differences in the influence of different teaching strategies on the transfer and retention of performance.The concrete presentation of teaching strategy should adapt to the characteristics of vivid learning style,image thinking,unstable attention and limited working memory capacity,and the interaction between teaching strategy and knowledge type and complexity.In addition,the higher vocational students in virtual environment,learning procedural knowledge and low complexity knowledge is better.Based on this,the research suggests that higher vocational teachers should pay attention to the application of virtual teaching strategies to improve the virtual learning effect of students,study virtual practice teaching deeply,focus on the teaching strategies with support function,and find the optimal combination of virtual teaching strategies combining teaching purpose and learning characteristics of vocational students.The virtual environment designer should develop virtual resources suitable for the learning characteristics of vocational students to assist the design of teaching strategies,such as adjusting the complexity of virtual knowledge based on cognitive load,designing virtual procedural knowledge based on the situation of work position.Higher vocational colleges can provide all-round guarantee,train teachers with virtual teaching ability,formulate evaluation standards for virtual teaching application effect and support virtual learning content and platform construction,so as to improve the application effect of virtual teaching strategy.
