At present, badminton has become one of the most popular sports in the world. In the badminton training of Chinese universities, there are still some deficiencies in the development of badminton.Due to the limitation of class hours and the solidification of training ideas, the phenomenon of not paying attention to quality training is widespread, which causes serious sports injuries to students. To study the application effect of functional motion screening(FMS)in badminton general training course. This paper adopts the methods of literature review, experiment and mathematical statistics to conduct an experiment on 42 male students majoring in physical education of grade 2016 and 2017 in LiaoNing Normal University. The FMS test scores of the experimental group and the control group were tested by non-parametric test of two independent samples.Wilconxon rank sum test was performed on the FMS scores of the experimental group and the control group.Research results:1.For the first functional action screening, the total FMS score of the experimental group was 13,accounting for 6.5%.14 points, accounting for 22.6%;15 points, accounting for22.6%;16 points, accounting for 12.9%;17 points,or 3.2 percent.2.For the first functional action screening, there was no significant difference in FMS test scores and total scores between the experimental group and the control group(p>,0.05).3.Compared with the first test, the results of the second functional movement screening test in the experimental group were improved with significant differences(p<0.05).The results of hurdle stepping, active knee raising and rotation stability test were improved, with significant difference(p<0.01).There was no significant difference(p>,0.05)in trunk stability push-up test.4.For the second functional movement screening, there was a significant difference between the test results of straight lunges and active straight knee raises between the experimental group and the control group(p<0.05).There was a significant difference between rotation stability and total score(p<0.01).There was no significant difference in other test scores(p>,0.05).Research conclusions:(1)It was diagnosed by FMS that the students in the experimental group had defects in symmetry on the left and right sides, insufficient flexibility of lower limb joints, insufficient stability of core areas of the body, poor flexibility of hamstring, gastrocnemius and soleus muscles, and low flexibility of the contralateral hip.The flexibility of shoulder, hip, knee and ankle should be improved.Trunk strength conduction ability and neuromuscular coordination ability need to be improved.(2)According to the diagnosis result of FMS,three stages(2 times a week)of 12 weeks should be carried out with 15 minutes of corrective training each time, aiming at the flexibility of lower limb joints and shoulder joints, control ability and stability of core area, functional strength training of the body and movement mode reconstruction,etc.(3)According to the results of the second FMS screening, the results of the experimental group, such as the straight lunge squat, active straight knee lift, rotation stability and total score, were improved. The sports injury risk of students is reduced, and the special physical quality is improved.(4)Functional motion screening(FMS)can find out the physical functional defects of students neglected in badminton training and effectively reduce the risk of sports injury by correcting them, which has a strong application value.
