| With the development of mobile information technology and strong support from national policies, the development of online vocational education continues to accelerate.Unlike traditional education, which primarily targets minors, vocational education is oriented towards adult employment. The current market for vocational education teaching software generally faces the problem of "low completion rate" and "high dropout rate",which means that vocational education software users have a low willingness to continue learning. Therefore, exploring the real needs of vocational education users, optimizing the user experience of mobile vocational education software, and enhancing the willingness of adults to continue learning online are the problems that this study aims to solve. This study stands from the perspective of learners and introduces the user experience honeycomb model to construct a research model for vocational education teaching software.Taking the LICAIEDU App as an example, establish a user experience model for vocational education software from the dimensions of usefulness, usability, searchability, reliability, satisfaction, and value, and investigate the user experience situation. The research results indicate that there are experience issues with the LICAIEDU App and the completion rate of vocational education courses for learners is low. Therefore, this study will explore user needs from the above two aspects and propose an optimized design for vocational education software to enhance adult learners’ willingness to continue learning. On the one hand, from the perspective of learning platforms,we will deeply explore the pain points of using the LICAIEDU App to solve user experience problems in vocational education software.Firstly, summarize the three core scenarios for users to use vocational education software:course learning, communication and posting, and topic practice. Then, user experience issues are categorized into the three scenarios mentioned above, and based on this,semi-structured interviews are conducted to explore user needs from the core scenarios. On the other hand, from the perspective of learning behavior, applying self-regulation theory to guide, cultivating users’ self-regulated learning habits, and solving the problem of poor user learning persistence in vocational education software. There have been many studies on selfregulation theory in online education and it is becoming mature, but there is less practice in the design of vocational education software.Based on the self-regulation tendency of adults in the learning process, this study explores the necessary conditions and key behaviors for the formation of self-regulation behavior, proposes the application of self-regulation theory to the design model of vocational education software, and adds a new curriculum plan scenario based on the model to explore user needs in this scenario. Finally, based on the above research results, optimize the design of the LICAIEDU App.Based on the user needs in four scenarios, product functions are derived, page flow sorting and interaction framework design are carried out,and an optimization plan for the LICAIEDU App is proposed. The specific presentation form of mobile products facing online vocational education is displayed and explained, and a usability evaluation test scale is established to verify the effectiveness of the optimization plan. |
