Information literacy is an inevitable requirement for the informatization and intelligence of education,and information literacy cultivation is a proper part of ideological and political education,and an effective means to improve classroom efficiency and teaching quality in senior secondary ideology and politics classes.The integration of information literacy cultivation into high school ideology and politics helps to improve the timeliness of teaching in ideology and politics,and the combination of information literacy cultivation and high school ideology and politics helps to ensure its correct political direction.Based on literature research,this paper summarises the connotations of information literacy and related concepts,and the intrinsic links between information literacy cultivation and high school ideology and politics classes.By investigating the current situation of cultivating information literacy among high school students,the paper compares the achievements of cultivating students’ information literacy in high school ideology and politics classes:teachers’ awareness of cultivating students’ information literacy has increased,and information literacy cultivation has become more closely integrated with high school ideology and politics classes.It is found that the current level of information literacy of high school students in senior high school ideology and politics classes can hardly meet the needs of the times,schools and teachers do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of students’ information literacy in ideology and politics classes,and high school students’ practical ability in ideology and politics information literacy is insufficient.In this context,the problems of "information cocoon",the information literacy level of senior high school teachers,and the solidification of students’ thinking by exam-oriented education are combined to propose corresponding strategies:accelerating the construction of an evaluation system for cultivating information literacy in ideology and politics;improving the information literacy of ideology and politics teachers from multiple perspectives;cultivating students’ information literacy in all aspects;and improving students’ information literacy in the whole process.Information literacy of students;the whole process of improving students’ information literacy.Improve students’ information literacy level in ideology and politics.
