| Hotel Service Etiquette,as the core course of operation and management professional skills in high-star hotels,The purpose of this course is to enable students to master the relevant knowledge of etiquette,and at the same time master the relevant rules of etiquette,interpersonal etiquette,professional etiquette,etc.,which can be used in real life and work,and improve students’ professional quality and core competitiveness as a whole.At present,etiquette education in secondary vocational schools is still faced with some problems,such as unclear teaching objectives,unclear teaching contents,single teaching methods,unscientific evaluation methods,imperfect teaching conditions and so on.It will lead to students’ low interest in learning and affect their learning consciousness and application ability.Therefore,it is imperative to carry out the teaching reform of Hotel Service Etiquette course,and "situational teaching method" has targeted promotion effect on stimulating students’ interest in learning,creating students’ main classroom and improving students’ knowledge application ability.How to carry out the teaching reform of etiquette course and make etiquette course play its due role is also the goal of secondary vocational educators.Based on the research and reference of relevant literature research results,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the application of situational teaching method in etiquette courses in secondary vocational schools,taking M secondary vocational school hotel service etiquette courses as an example,and makes an empirical study.This paper focuses on the present situation of situational teaching method in the teaching of Hotel Service Etiquette in secondary vocational schools,Combining students and teachers’ design and application of situational teaching questionnaires with interviews,this paper analyzes the shortcomings of hotel service etiquette course teaching in secondary vocational schools by analyzing the collected data.On this basis,it explores the situational teaching reform mode of etiquette course and carries out implementation tests.According to Constructivism Learning Theory Situational Cognition Theory and the understanding of Situational Teaching we can find that Situational Teaching can effectively arouse students’ learning enthusiasm cultivate cooperative consciousness enhance theoretical knowledge and effectively improve their professional quality.In view of the problems existing in etiquette teaching,this paper tries to apply situational teaching method to hotel service etiquette teaching in order to improve the teaching status of professional etiquette course in middle schools.In the pilot implementation of the course "Hotel Service Etiquette",through the feedback of the implementation effect of the new teaching mode,compared with before the reform,students’ satisfaction and teaching effect have been greatly improved,but there are still some shortcomings,which need to be improved and further explored in the future teaching. |
