| Along with the in-depth development of STEAM education and the advent of the age of artificial intelligence, domestic and international events such as robotics competitions, programming competitions and creative design activities have gradually received widespread attention from society in recent years. As a strategic measure to promote robotics education, robotics competitions are one of the effective ways to cultivate students’ interdisciplinary and comprehensive abilities,so developing robotics education is an ambitious theoretical and practical process. To date, domestic and international scholars have been exploring robotics education without interruption, and while robotics has gradually penetrated into various fields and gained rapid development, there are still problems such as teachers’ lack of expertise in artificial intelligence, insufficient relevant teaching resources, inaccurate grasp of curriculum objectives and content scope, and lack of experience and reference examples to draw on.To address these problems, this study, based on the author’s experience in conducting robotics teaching, designs and develops a set of practical training courses for robotics education at the junior secondary level, and analyses their effectiveness through teaching practice, which largely solves the problem of the lack of resources for practical training in robotics competitions and promotes the effective promotion and popularisation of robotics education in secondary schools.Firstly, this paper demonstrates the importance of the research and research questions. The research literature and other sources, the relevant concepts and connotations of robotics education and its development in experiments are sorted out to lay a good theoretical foundation for the design and development of the subsequent curriculum.Secondly, through questionnaire surveys, the current situation of the implementation of robot competition courses is investigated and the existing problems are analyzed;on the basis of the analysis of the needs of the course, based on the project-based teaching concept, constructivist learning theory, collaborative learning theory and "learning by doing" theory, the course objectives, course content, implementation plan, assessment This study is based on the concept of project-based teaching. In this study,a set of 28 sessions of practical training in junior high school robotics was developed,Standards and demands for major primary and secondary school robotics contests in China. It is a complete set of practical training processes. It is suitable for the regular teaching of teachers’ competitions, and teachers can imitate the cases in the course for their own innovation. The author has used the developed course for a year’s teaching practice in a practical school and has selected the key chapters of the course,"Patrol Robot Environment Acquisition" and "Robot Patrol",as teaching cases for analysis. The results are then analysed. The effectiveness of the teaching and learning achieved in this set of courses is analysed from a number of perspectives, including objective and objective, and teacher and pupil,by means of student surveys, student development outcomes and teacher interviews. The application results show that this course can provide students with theoretical knowledge of robotics competition, understand the connection between robot building and programming, master robotics competition skills and achieve good competition results, and has some application value. Finally,to conclude the text. The design and development of the course can solve the problems encountered in the teaching of junior high school robotics competition to a certain extent,It is also a valuable resource for the subsequent design and development of more closely linked courses in the future. |
