| HPS is the abbreviation of "History,Philosophy,Sociology of Science",which refers to the integration of the relevant content of the history of science,philosophy of science and sociology of science into science education to help students interpret and understand science,and improve students’ understanding of the nature of science understanding,cultivate students’ scientific spirit and humanistic feelings.The society has higher and higher requirements for personnel training.Affected by various factors such as examination pressure,middle school students lack a correct understanding of the nature of science,and lack the perception of scientific spirit and humanistic feelings."Class hourism" also makes knowledge fragmented,and students lack the overall grasp of knowledge.The new curriculum reform attaches great importance to the cultivation of core literacy,and the curriculum standards of chemistry require the cultivation of students’ necessary character and key abilities.The HPS educational concept is highly compatible with the new curriculum standard concept,helping students understand the nature of science and promoting the cultivation of students’ key abilities.With its unique theoretical and practical value,it points out a new direction for the new round of chemistry curriculum reform.Therefore,under the background of core literacy,how to integrate the HPS education concept into classroom teaching,improve students’ understanding of the nature of science,cultivate students’ scientific spirit and humanistic feelings,and promote students’ systematic mastery of knowledge are the main issues of this research.Based on this,the author tries to apply the HPS education concept to high school chemistry teaching and conduct unit teaching practice research.This study consists of seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,including the question,the current research status of HPS education at home and abroad,and the problem and significance of this research.The second chapter is the research design,which defines the research ideas,methods and tools of this research.The third chapter is the definition of relevant concepts and theoretical basis.This research defines the concept of HPS education and the nature of science,and determines and expounds the theoretical basis of this research.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the results of the questionnaire on the current situation of HPS teaching and the analysis of the influencing factors.The questionnaire on the current situation of HPS teaching is compiled,and the teachers and students are surveyed to understand the current situation and existing problems of HPS teaching.Examination system,teachers’ concept and professional level,family concept.The fifth chapter is the implementation basis and teaching design of the HPS education concept applied to high school chemistry teaching.By sorting out the new curriculum standards and ordinary high school chemistry textbooks,sorting and analyzing their HPS requirements and materials,the implementation basis of this research is determined.Based on HPS teaching Based on the implementation basis and existing problems of HPS,the teaching design principles,teaching strategies and teaching modes based on the HPS educational concept are summarized,and the direction for teaching design is pointed out.The sixth chapter is the practical research on the application of HPS education concept to high school chemistry teaching.After confirming that the level of scientific nature of students in the two classes is equal and there is no significant difference,"chlorine and its compounds" with high HPS educational value is selected as a teaching case.,carry out the HPS unit teaching design,the experimental class adopts HPS teaching,and the control class adopts general teaching.In this study,the scientific essence level of the students in the experimental class before and after the test,the scientific essence level of the students in the experimental class and the control class,and the students’ feelings on the scientific spirit,humanistic feelings and knowledge mastery of HPS education were used as the research objectives.Teaching evaluation indicators.Through SPSS.25 software,data statistics and analysis are carried out on the scientific nature level of the students in the experimental class before and after the test,and the scientific nature level of the students in the experimental class and the control class,and the results of the interview are analyzed.The seventh chapter is research reflection and suggestions.The author reviews the whole process of this research,reflects on the shortcomings of this research,and puts forward some superficial suggestions.Through the analysis of the post-test data of the students in the experimental class and the control class,it is found that although there is no significant difference in the levels of each dimension of the scientific nature of the students in the experimental class and the control class,the average scores of the students in the experimental class are slightly different.higher than the average score of the control class post-test.In addition,through interviews with students in the experimental class,it is found that HPS education can stimulate students’ interest in chemistry learning,and can improve students’ experience in scientific spirit and humanistic feelings.Through the analysis of the post-measurement data of the scientific nature of the students in the experimental class and the control class,it is found that although there is no significant difference in the levels of each dimension of the scientific nature of the students in the experimental class and the control class,however,the average scores of the students in the experimental class were slightly higher than those in the control class.In addition,through interviews with students in the experimental class,it is found that HPS education can stimulate students’ interest in chemistry learning,and can improve students’ experience in scientific spirit and humanistic feelings. |
