HPS(History,Philosophy and Sociology,History of Science,Philosophy of Science and Sociology of Science)is the educational philosophy of integrating scientific history,scientific philosophy and scientific sociology into science teaching.This paper is based on the textbooks of the three countries of China,the United States and Canada,and the Chinese textbooks are the high school textbooks of the People's Education Press.The American textbooks are selected by Mc Graw Hill Education as one of the "Scientists" series of translation.And the application";Canadian textbooks selected by Cengage Learning published in the" scientific method "in the volumes 11A and 12A.The purpose of the study is to examine and compare the scientific history,scientific sociology,and scientific characterization of national teaching materials,and compare the integration of the three in teaching materials.The use of research methods is content analysis and comparison.Firstly,by sorting out the literature and curriculum standards to clarify the scientific history,scientific sociology and scientific nature of the analytical framework to determine the evaluation index,the preparation of coding analysis,the textbooks in the history of science,scientific sociology and scientific nature of the three Situation,from the content selection,presentation,length,learning activities,location distribution of these three aspects of the three materials in the HPS content similarities and profiles of the analysis.Secondly,according to the results of comparative analysis,the advantages of HPS content representation in the textbooks of the three countries are drawn,and the contents of "Energy and Social Development" are selected according to the principles of scientific teaching materials.Through the teacher and student interviews,the preparation of the activities of the evaluation of the feedback.Finally,the comparison of the results of the analysis of teaching materials and the preparation of the summary of the reflection,the HPS into the scientific teaching of the main purpose is to enhance students'understanding of the nature of science.To achieve this goal,in addition to increasing the content of HPS,the selection of scientific sociology and scientific history related to the nature of science,but also as much as possible to express the theme of scientific nature,for the HPS content learning design diversified learning activities.The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.In HPS,scientific sociology most attention,the most frequent,the use of learning activities and presentation is also the most abundant.In the text of the three countries in the nature of science,the frequency of the least,the nature of the secondary dimension of the missing.The frequency of science is between the scientific sociology and the nature of science.2.Canadian science and technology in the history of science and the nature of the theme of the frequency of the three textbooks in the least.Chinese teaching materials for the HPS content of the problems are:for the history of science,scientific sociology and scientific nature of the lack of certain content,or the frequency of appear too little.Learning activities,most of the theme of the use of a simple guide to read,too much in the presentation of the use of plain text description,distribution of materials in the text is not reasonable and so on.3.The integration of scientific sociology and scientific essence in the textbooks of the Three Kingdoms is not good.In contrast,the integration of scientific history and scientific essence is better.
