High school ideology and politics courses(hereinafter referred to as high school Civics)is a key course to implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education.The key to a good high school Civics course is in the teachers,and the key is to bring into play the enthusiasm,initiative and creativity of the teachers.General Secretary Xi Jinping expects teachers of Civics to bear in mind the basic requirements of "six requirements" and "eight unity",deepen the reform and innovation of Civics teaching,and strive to create a Civics class with "height,depth and temperature".This places high demands on the teaching skills of new teachers who lack teaching experience,so it is vital to optimize the teaching skills of new teachers of high school Civics.In order to explore strategies for optimizing the cultivation of teaching skills for new high school ideological and political course teachers,based on the study of the relevant theories of new teachers and teaching skills,the connotation of new high school ideological and political course teachers and teaching skills was defined,and the necessity of cultivating teaching skills for new high school ideological and political course teachers was further clarified.At the same time,using a questionnaire survey combined with thematic interviews,the current situation of teaching skills of new teachers in high school ideological and political courses was sorted out and analyzed.It can be found that the current training has achieved good results,but there are still some problems,such as insufficient preparation for teaching skills,insufficient scientific cognition of teaching skills,and insufficient flexibility in the application of teaching skills.The reasons can be summarized as follows:the training system for ideological and political teaching skills in normal universities is not complete enough,the training effect of ideological and political teaching skills in vocational schools is not ideal enough,and the internal driving force for the improvement of new teachers’ teaching skills is not high enough.Based on the analysis of the above reasons,suggestions are attempted to be put forward:firstly,normal universities should improve the teaching skills training system for ideological and political normal students,accumulate sufficient "source of vitality",and start from three aspects:integrating curriculum settings,optimizing teaching staff,and grasping practical links;Secondly,incoming schools should increase the training of new teachers’ teaching skills from three dimensions:strict control of lesson preparation quality management,enhancement of teaching skill training effectiveness,and promotion of teacher teaching skill evaluation,in order to build a "growth chain";Finally,new teachers should exert their subjective initiative,stimulate their ’endogenous potential’,improve the quality of lesson preparation,consolidate the foundation of teaching skill application,strengthen scientific research awareness,deepen theoretical research on teaching skills,and combine teaching practice to improve the level of teaching skill application. |
