Novel teaching is an important part of high school Chinese classroom.A number of novels with different themes and cultural backgrounds are selected in the high school Chinese textbooks compiled by the ministry,which not only enrichis classroom teaching resources but also brings more opportunities and challenges for teachers.For example,teachers should properly interpret text parts,accurately convey values,and cultivate students’ language ability.In addition,the word "context" has been mentioned many times in the "General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017 edition,2020 revision)" and the partial edition of high school Chinese textbooks,and there are specific teaching requirements.Therefore,"context" is an important factor in high school fiction teaching,so it is of great significance to integrate context theory into fiction teaching.The term "context" was proposed nearly a century ago,when anthropophilist Malinowski first proposed the concept of context on the basis of linguistics.In the development of society,the theory of context is gradually improving and developing.This study mainly adopts literature research method,text analysis method and questionnaire survey method.First of all,I will search and sort out the journal papers related to this paper,and then investigate the current situation of novel teaching,so as to put forward the teaching strategy of high school Chinese novel based on the context theory,and take the teaching design of "Lotus Lake" as an example to carry out teaching practice,hoping that the teaching strategy proposed in this paper can better help front-line teachers to carry out the teaching of novel.The main body of this thesis consists of six chapters:Chapter one is an overview of high school novel teaching based on context theory.This chapter mainly discusses the concept of context theory and context teaching,determines the research object and main content of this paper,and delimits the research scope for the research of this paper.Chapter two is the theoretical basis of the application of context theory in high school novel teaching.This chapter introduces the pedagogy,psychology and linguistics of the application of context theory,which lays the theoretical basis of this study,and expounds the operating principles of novel teaching from the perspective of context.The third chapter is the analysis of high school Chinese novel teaching requirements.From the perspective of the requirements of high school Chinese novel teaching,this paper analyzes the selection of high school Chinese novel in textbooks,the specific requirements of high school novel teaching,and the value of the application of context theory in high school novel teaching.Chapter four analyzes the current situation and problems of the application of context theory in high school novel teaching.During the internship,I distributed questionnaires and carried out teaching practice,analyzed and sorted out survey data and practice contents.This chapter mainly conducted a questionnaire survey on high school teachers and students in some areas,in order to find out the use of context teaching by Chinese teachers in high school Chinese novel teaching,teachers’ external difficulties in implementing context teaching,students’ views on context teaching and their novel learning needs.Chapter five: Teaching strategies of high school novels based on context theory.Finally,from the combination of text context,grasp the content of the novel as a whole;Based on the form of speech,understand the meaning of the works;Carry out multi-dimensional dialogue in class to cultivate students’ oral communication ability;This paper summarizes the specific strategies of applying context theory to high school novel teaching from four aspects,namely,the use of language and the construction of the connecting junction between fiction and writing.Chapter six is the teaching design of Lotus Lake based on context theory.On the basis of the context theory,this paper carries out the teaching design and teaching reflection of the high school novel Lotus Lake based on the context theory,analyzes the context teaching thought contained in it,and proves that the context theory can be effectively applied to the high school novel teaching through the teaching implementation.It is hoped that through this study,more scientific guiding theories can be provided for the teaching design of high school novels,so as to improve the efficiency of novel teaching,help the teaching of high school Chinese novels return to text,emphasize text analysis,help students master the ability of independent thinking and appreciation of novels,and constantly improve the core quality of students’ Chinese.Due to the lack of practical teaching experience,there are many unsatisfactory aspects in this study.I will continue to study in the future study and work,in order to constantly improve my research level.
