The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed for the first time that "cultivating morality and cultivating people is the fundamental task of education",answered the fundamental question of "what kind of people to cultivate and how to cultivate them" in the socialist education cause,and clarified the fundamental mission of education.The General High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)implemented the fundamental task of establishing moral education in the field of geography,explored the core nurturing value of the subject,and condensed the four core literacies.Among them,geography practical power refers to the quality of will and action ability possessed in practical activities,which is the practical application and the only test of other literacies.The Action Plan for Education Informatization 2.0proposed that informatization is an endogenous force for educational change and emphasized the importance of education informatization to today’s industrial revolution.Information technology has effectively expanded the scope of time and space for geography practice activities,and is a new innovative opportunity to promote the development of practice teaching;PIE remote sensing cloud service platform is a collection of massive remote sensing images and computing resources,which can be used by users to study algorithm patterns,quickly explore surface characteristics,and develop change trends in geospatial data analysis and computing platform on any scale,with strong operability,ease of use,and It is easy to use,easy to use,and closely integrated with geography teaching,and can provide technical support for the development of student-oriented,collaborative,and in-depth learning geography practical activities.In this paper,we found that the development of geography practice is mostly carried out through fieldwork,experiments,research and other real-life activities,but there are still few studies on the development of geography practice through the application of geography information technology.In addition,the value of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform applied to the cultivation of geographic practice has not been explored.Based on this,This article was based on deep learning theory,activity teaching theory,and constructivist theory,and used literature research,questionnaire survey,and case analysis methods as research methods to elaborate on the main concepts of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform and geographic practicality;discussed the feasibility of cultivating students’ geography practical power based on PIE remote sensing cloud service platform;proposed the PIE remote sensing cloud platform framework,strategies,paths,and models for cultivating students’ geography practical power with the support of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform;carry out the teaching empirical evidence of cultivating students’ geography practical power with the support of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform,and analyze the effect.The main findings of this paper are as follows:(1)The PIE remote sensing cloud service platform has good applicability and adaptability in cultivating geographical practical skills.(2)Middle school geography practice activities were conducted less frequently,but students had a higher willingness to participate.Conducted a survey on the current situation of geography practical activities in secondary schools and the development level of students’ geography practical ability.The results showed that the current secondary school geography practical activities are carried out less frequently,there are problems such as weak infrastructure and insufficient attention to geography practical courses,and students have certain geography practical ability and strong willingness to participate in geography practical activities.(3)Combined with the concept of deep learning,according to the characteristics of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform,the strategy of cultivating students’ geography practical ability based on PIE remote sensing cloud service platform was proposed,and the framework of geography practical ability cultivation was constructed;the teaching mode of practical class of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform "from shallow to deep" and the teaching mode of "collaborative sharing and building" were designed.(4)Empirical research shows that the PIE remote sensing cloud service platform supports effective teaching in cultivating students’ geographical practical abilities.Design teaching cases based on the content of "soil" and "vegetation",conduct empirical research on the framework of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform application and geographical practice training,as well as the "shallow to deep" practical course teaching model and the "collaborative sharing and co construction" teaching model,and analyze the effectiveness.The results indicated that the framework and two teaching models for the application of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform and the cultivation of geographical practical ability can effectively enhance students’ abilities in geographic data collection and processing,geographic activity implementation and design,thereby promoting the development of students’ geographical practical ability.The innovation of this paper is that it combined the concept of deep learning with the PIE remote sensing cloud service platform,built a framework for geography practice cultivation,explored the teaching mode of "from shallow to deep" practice course and the teaching mode of "collaborative sharing and co-construction",and enriches the empirical research on geography practice cultivation.The empirical research of geography practice cultivation was enriched.
