| Educational informatization is the inevitable trend of geography education development at present and in the future.In 2019,the State Council issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Reform of Education Methods in Ordinary Senior High Schools in the New Era,which proposed to strengthen the in-depth integration of information technology and subject teaching.The Geography Curriculum Standards for General High Schools(2017Edition,2020 Revision),which proposed the requirement of "fully using geography information technology" and "innovative learning methods for cultivating the core competencies of geography".Comprehensive thinking is one of the core accomplishments of geography.It is the requirement of geography teachers in the new era to use information technology to innovate the way and means of geography classroom teaching in senior high school and to cultivate students’ comprehensive thinking of geography,which is also an important way for schools to develop all-round quality education.If the mutual integration of information technology with geographic education is realized,a good foundation would be laid for the current academic,future survival and career development of the majority of high school students.Jointly developed by Aerospace Hongtu Information Technology Co.,Ltd.and Huawei Cloud,PIE(pixel information expert)remote sensing cloud service platform is China’s first software with independent intellectual property rights,which can provide online processing and analysis services for all users.With the advantages such as abundant data resources,trial use free of charge,being easy to use,openness and sharing,it can realize the extraction of geographic element information,reflect the temporal and spatial dynamic development and changes of geographic matters,the evolution of regional geographic environment and other abundant geospatial information under the support of the platform,which is a powerful information-based means of geography teaching in high school.Based on the PIE remote sensing cloud service platform,the application of the PIE remote sensing cloud service platform to cultivate the comprehensive thinking teaching mode of geography was explored,and the practical exploration of high school geography teaching design cases was carried out.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The concept of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform was expounded,and the concept of geographic comprehensive thinking and its components were outlined.Three major theories including educational psychology theory,educational informatization theory and system theory were provided scientific theoretical guidance on cultivating comprehensive geographical thinking based on the PIE remote sensing cloud service platform.(2)The characteristics of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform were introduced.As a means of geography auxiliary teaching,the feasibility of cultivating geographic comprehensive thinking based on PIE Remote Sensing Cloud Service Platform were analyzed by the functions,advantages and value of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform.(3)The principles of cultivating students’ geographic comprehensive thinking based on PIE remote sensing cloud service platform were proposed.And cultivating strategies of geographic comprehensive thinking were proposed combining by element synthesis,spacetime synthesis and regional synthesis.In addition,three teaching modes on cultivating geographic comprehensive thinking based on the PIE cloud service platform were constructed in this paper,which included of topic-based teaching,inquiry-based teaching and project-based teaching mode.(4)Taking "fluvial landform","vegetation and environment" and "prevention and control of desertification in Inner Mongolia" as typical cases,the teaching practices of cultivating geographic comprehensive thinking based on PIE Remote Sensing Cloud Service Platform were carried out.The teaching effect of PIE remote sensing cloud service platform assisting the cultivation of students’ geographic comprehensive thinking were investigated and analyzed through a questionnaire for students and teacher interviews.Cultivating student’s geographic comprehensive thinking ability based on PIE remote sensing cloud service platform was carried out at first time in this paper.The principles and strategies of cultivating students’ geographic comprehensive thinking based on PIE Remote Sensing Cloud Service Platform were put forward.And cultivating modes on student’s geographic comprehensive thinking based on PIE remote sensing cloud service platform were constructed in this paper.Finally,“ fluvial landform”,“vegetation and environment”and “prevention and control of desertification in Inner Mongolia” were adopted as typical cases,and the teaching practice and teaching effect were analyzed in this paper.By adopting the PIE remote sensing cloud service platform to assist in high school geography teaching,it is conducive to the creation of an information-based classroom atmosphere,and the construction of an intuitive,real and vivid classroom environment for high school students.On the other hand,the high school geography teaching resources can be further enriched and expanded,the students’ thirst for knowledge and the effectiveness of classroom teaching can be stimulated,the high school geography education methods and technologies can be enriched and developed,the way to cultivate the core literacy of geography discipline can be innovated,and the students’ comprehensive thinking ability of geography can be cultivated.Practical exploration showed that PIE remote sensing cloud service platform assisting geography teaching in senior high school,was helpful to create an informationized classroom atmosphere and create an intuitive,real and vivid classroom environment for senior high school students,and enrich the methods and technologies of geography education in senior high schools,and innovate the ways of cultivating the core literacy of geography,and train the students’ comprehensive thinking ability of geography. |
