| High school students are currently in adolescence, which is an important period for their physical and mental development and changes, and it is also a stage for them to make relative adjustments and adapt to these changes. As grades gradually rise, students’ academic pressure gradually increases, which is not conducive to their physical and mental health growth.Daily academic resilience not only helps to improve students’ learning motivation and stress resistance, but also helps to cultivate their positive psychological qualities.Previous studies have found that external environmental factors can affect an individual’s daily academic resilience level through an internal mechanism. Therefore, this paper aims to explore the impact of parental support on high school students’ daily academic resilience and the role of self-efficacy in it.This research adopts the sampling survey method, taking the students of a senior high school in Nanning City,Guangxi Autonomous Region as the subjects, using the Parental Support Scale, the self-efficacy Scale and the Everyday Academic Flexibility Scale to measure.1290 questionnaires were distributed, and 1176 valid questionnaires were recovered. To investigate the influence of parental support on the daily academic resilience of high school students and the role of self-efficacy in it,and draw the following conclusions:(1)In gender, boys’ daily academic flexibility and self-efficacy were significantly higher than girls’.In terms of whether they are only children or not, only children receive significantly higher parental support and daily academic resilience than non only children. In terms of whether they are class cadres or not,the self-efficacy of class cadres is significantly higher than that of non class cadres.(2)There is a significant correlation among high school students’ parental support, daily academic flexibility and self-efficacy.There is a significant positive correlation between parental support and its dimensions and daily academic resilience, between parental support and its dimensions and self-efficacy,and between self-efficacy and daily academic resilience.(3)High school students’ self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role between parental support and daily academic resilience.High school students’ parental support can not only directly predict the daily academic resilience, but also indirectly predict the daily academic resilience through self-efficacy.The results show that there is a correlation among the three variables of high school students’ parental support,self-efficacy,and daily academic resilience, and self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role between parental support and daily academic resilience. Therefore,it provides us with some educational insights that can enhance the daily academic resilience of high school students from three aspects: family, school, and individual.Firstly, parents should create a good living environment and provide effective encouragement and support for their children;Secondly, schools should create a good learning environment and teach students according to their aptitude; Finally, individuals should maintain a good mindset, learn to make reasonable use of resources, and actively seek help. |
