Children’s self-care ability is an important basic ability for children to achieve themselves,serve themselves,and realize self-reliance and self-improvement.In the process of realizing self-care,children can gradually understand themselves,and then improve themselves,so as to lay a solid foundation for their future study and life.This study through questionnaires,interviews and other forms to understand the problems existing in the children’s self-care of small class,investigate the reasons and put forward targeted suggestions,caused the majority of educators to deepen the attention to the topic of children’s self-care.Small class children of two public kindergartens in Nanning city were taken as the investigation and research objects to understand the current level of small class children in diet,sleep,toilet,toilet and clothing in educational practice.Through the analysis of the data,the following problems are obtained: children are easy to be picky about eating,can not maintain the correct eating posture,it is difficult to end the meal on time.In terms of sleep,children can not put clothes in a designated position,and it is difficult to keep quiet when falling asleep,and it is difficult to get up on time.In terms of hand washing,children wash their hands and can not actively roll up their sleeves before their face.It is difficult to master the steps of hand washing and face,and do not inform them in time after the washing.Go to the toilet to rush to,can not use the urinal correctly,it is difficult to clean the bottom after the toilet.In terms of dressing,it is difficult for children to distinguish the positive and negative clothes,cannot dress and wear shoes independently,and do not develop the habit of carrying bags independently.The reasons for the problems are summarized as follows: children have poor self-control,health habits need to be developed;teachers’ education concept is not unified,self-care plan is systematized;family environment differences and family parenting style differences.According to the existing problems,suggestions are given to improve the self-care ability: advocate self-service,improve children’s self-care ability,develop regular work and rest,improve their sleep self-care ability,promote the self-care ability,strengthen health education,help the toilet self-care ability;increase exploration opportunities to master the self-care ability,and improve the self-care education mechanism.The advantage of this study lies in the in-depth investigation of the target kindergarten,the collection of more detailed first-hand materials,and the authentic data.The disadvantage is that the researchers’ ability to analyze the data is not deep enough,and they need to strengthen the study of the data analysis.
