As the basic theoretical knowledge in music courses,the knowledge of music history combined in music teaching activities is a bridge to help students better perceive music and understand the cultural connotation of music works.It is an effective way to cultivate students’ musical aesthetic ability and expand their musical horizons.In teaching practice,the author found that students did not master the knowledge of music history in textbooks very well,and most students reported that the knowledge of music history was difficult to understand or were not interested.Therefore,The author combined with the relevant content of "Compulsory Education Music Curriculum Standards"(2011edition)and characteristics of psychological and physiological development in junior middle school students,the writer summarizes the distribution of music history knowledge in the textbook by taking the humanities education version of the junior high school music textbook as an example.Then,select four representative junior high schools that use the People’s Education Edition music teaching materials to conduct in-depth research to ensure that the survey result of present situation of music history knowledge teaching is objective and comprehensive.Then,according to the reasons and existing problems of the survey results,four teaching strategies and application cases are proposed.It is hoped that it can provide reference cases for the teaching of music history knowledge in primary and secondary schools,and increase teaching paths and teaching methods.The thesis is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the reason,purpose and significance of the topic selection,and organizes and categorizes the related topics of music history knowledge in junior high school music textbooks to form a literature review.The second part is the first chapter of the thesis that expound practical meaning of music history instructional strategies and analyze the distribution of music history based on People’s Education teaching materials.The part three is the second chapter of this thesis,which is mainly about the investigation results and reason analysis of the current situation of music history knowledge teaching.The fourth part is divided into the third chapter,expounding the teaching strategies of music history knowledge summarized in practice,and the corresponding case teaching design.The fifth part is the fourth chapter.The author thinks and makes suggestions on the teaching of music history knowledge from both the teacher level and the student level.
