In the current situation where fully left behind children receive national policy support and academic attention,the related issues of semi left behind children should also be given attention.Especially due to improper family upbringing and limited practical exercise,the problem of insufficient peer communication ability directly affects the social adaptation level of this group.This study uses the Mirror in Me Theory and Social Learning Theory as the theoretical analysis framework,with semi left behind children as the research object,to analyze the feasibility and potential difficulties of growth group intervention in their peer communication ability problems,and explore the application value of growth group intervention in semi left behind children’s communication ability.The first part of the study provides an overview of the research background and relevant literature,clarifies the research purpose and significance,and determines the theoretical framework,content,and methods of the study.The second part is the analysis of the current situation and needs.Through interviews with child welfare administrative personnel in L County and resident social workers in X Town,a questionnaire survey of 214 children in X Town,and semi-structured interviews with10 typical semi left behind children and their guardians,data and information on the current situation and needs of peer communication among rural semi left behind children were collected.It is found that the semi left behind children are deficient in four dimensions: prosocial behavior,peer communication initiative,peer communication emotional barriers,verbal communication and nonverbal understanding.At the same time,they have a need for improvement and internal motivation.The third part is practical research,recruiting 8 semi left behind children from X Town,L County as research subjects to carry out growth oriented group work services and practical research.Seven group activities were designed and conducted using interactive and observational learning strategies,divided into five stages.To evaluate the effectiveness of improving peer communication skills and satisfaction with group work among semi left behind children,a comparative analysis before and after the scale was used,as well as a group satisfaction survey.The results showed that: 1.In terms of ability improvement,the comprehensive average scores of the four dimensions of peer communication ability of the study subjects increased by 26%,which showed significant differences.In terms of satisfaction,29.6% of group members are relatively satisfied with group activities,and 70.3% of group members are very satisfied.Therefore,growth oriented groups can enhance the peer communication ability of semi left behind children.The fourth part of the research conclusion and reflection suggests that insufficient family support is a practical factor affecting the peer communication ability of semi left behind children.The growth group has feasibility and good effectiveness in improving the peer communication ability of semi left behind children.In addition,the author has reflected on practical design strategies and coping skills and strategies during the practical process.Then put forward suggestions and countermeasures. |
