The column "Use your experience" is an introductory activity column in the textbook "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school.It is based on students’ individual life experience and points to the content of the new lesson to be learned,aiming to build the teaching "scaffolding" between students’ life experience and the content of the new lesson.Reasonable and efficient use of "Use your experience" column in teaching can play an important value,not only help teachers firmly establish the teaching material concept of "teaching with teaching materials",implement the teaching concept of teaching life,but also help students to scientifically develop the learning concept of applying what they have learned.Based on Marxist epistemology and Tao Xingzhi’s thought of life education,this paper analyzes the setting intention,distribution,basic functions and main types of the column "Use your experience" by sorting out the textbook text of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior middle school and related research results.The author used the questionnaire survey method and interview method to conduct empirical investigation and research,and found that the column "Use your experience" has achieved important results in teaching application,mainly including clarifying the design intention,giving full play to the function of introducing new courses;encouraging expression and sharing,respecting the main role of students;strengthening the interaction between teachers and students,creating an open and democratic classroom atmosphere;attaching importance to students’ experience,and enhancing the connection between life experience and knowledge learning,etc.However,the use of this column also has problems such as the selection of columns is sometimes not appropriate,the selection of experience is slightly simplistic,the use of experience is easy to stay at the level of life,and the use of some columns is limited by the textbook itself.The main reasons for these problems are that some teachers lack a comprehensive and accurate understanding of the columns,the content of the columns is rich and the application time is limited,the students’ experience needs to be further transformed,and the teaching is affected by the traditional teaching material view.Based on the analysis of the above reasons,from the perspective of junior high school morality and rule of law teachers,this paper puts forward the application strategy of the "Use your experience" column in the teaching of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school.First,enhance the quality of teachers and clarify the starting point for the use of the column;Second,closely follow the textbook frame questions and grasp the basic points of column application;Third,based on students’ experience and grasp the key points of column application;Fourth,it is in line with teaching practice and improve the problem points of column application.It is hoped that this will provide a new idea for junior high school morality and rule of law teachers to use this column,and constantly innovate teaching practice and improve teaching effectiveness in the process of using new teaching materials.
