The Biology Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)puts forward the requirements of taking the subject core quality as the purpose and strengthening the model construction teaching.Conceptual model is an important part of model construction teaching.It plays an important role in helping students understand important concepts and implement the development of students’ core biological literacy.In order to understand the current situation of the application of conceptual models in senior high school biology teaching,this study collected and consulted the relevant literature,and compiled a student questionnaire and a teacher interview outline for investigation.Through the collection,consulting and collation of literature,we know that China pays more attention to the teaching of model construction,and the research on the teaching of conceptual model construction is gradually enriched.In order to understand the application of conceptual model in senior high school biology teaching,this study conducted a survey by issuing questionnaires to students and interviewing teachers.The results show that the development of conceptual model construction teaching is restricted by many factors;Some teachers lack of cognition and application of the conceptual model;Students’ cognition of conceptual model is insufficient.In view of the above problems,this study puts forward some suggestions for improvement:first,schools and teachers should change their thinking and pay attention to the conceptual model;Teachers should change the traditional teaching methods and flexibly carry out the concept model construction teaching;Strengthen students’ cognition of conceptual model and change students’ traditional learning methods.Summarize the teaching strategies of conceptual model construction teaching: understand the learning situation,fully prepare for lessons and make good preparations;Creating situations,stimulating interest and introducing concepts;The teacher guides,analyzes the connotation,forms the concept;Analyze the connection and arrange the construction according to the learning situation;Teacher student evaluation,revision and improvement,application model.This paper combs the content of the concept model and the applicable concept model construction teaching in the new textbook Molecule and Cell published by the people’s education press.On the basis of the above,the teaching case design is carried out,and two classes with similar academic achievements and learning interests are selected to carry out teaching comparison practice.The experimental class carries out concept model construction teaching,and the control class carries out conventional teaching.After two months of teaching practice,through the comparative analysis of students’ performance,learning interest,modeling ability and classroom performance,the results show that the application of the concept model construction teaching model can promote the following aspects: the enhancement of students’ biological learning interest,the cultivation of students’ application model and modeling ability,the improvement of students’ learning efficiency and performance,and students’ cooperative learning Improvement of innovation and other capabilities.Finally,it is hoped that this study can provide some references for teachers to carry out conceptual model construction teaching in senior high school biology teaching.
