Model building method is one of the core contents of modern scientific method. In high school biology curriculum standard, the model building knowledge is regarded as the basic knowledge for students to master. Based on this background and my own teaching practice, this paper will introduce "conceptual model" as a kind of learning strategy to high school biology teaching to explore the feasibility of this learning strategy in order to effectively solve the practical problems in biology teaching.This paper is based on the analysis of the survey results of the biological conceptual model of the high school biology teaching in our district, and it is analyzed from the three aspects of the new teaching, revision and exercise classes to carry out the practice of biological teaching in our school.The research results show that the establishment of the conceptual model as a learning strategy to be introduced into the high school biology teaching is of great significance for students to improve their learning interest, the formation of modeling ideas, the development of thinking ability, language expression ability, and the formation of cooperative consciousness.In the end of this paper, it is stressed that it is very important to establish a conceptual model as a learning strategy to be applied to biology teaching.
