| The "Standard for Chemistry Curriculum for General High Schools(2017 Edition)" proposes that education should aim to develop students’ core chemical literacy,and cultivate students’ learning to learn,think creatively and apply knowledge to solve problems.The ultimate goal of deep learning is to develop students’ higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills.Therefore,deep learning as an effective way to cultivate students’ core literacy in chemistry is necessary for the deepening of curriculum reform.However,the traditional single teaching method cannot break the dilemma of students’ deep learning,and it is imperative to study new teaching models,including 5E teaching models,which are constantly being introduced.The 5E teaching model is an inquiry-based teaching,and each teaching link pays attention to the status of students’ main body and guides students to deeply understand and grasp scientific concepts,which is similar to the concept of deep learning.This study combines the 5E teaching mode and deep learning theory,and comprehensively uses questionnaires,interviews,educational practices and other methods to study the 5E teaching mode based on the concept of deep learning.This paper first introduces the background of the selected topic,through the in-depth combing of 5E teaching mode and deep learning related literature at home and abroad,clarifying the research status and related concepts of the research topic,determining the research content and methods,and elaborating the relevant theories of the research.Secondly,based on the connotation of deep learning theory,a questionnaire is formulated,and the data is analyzed to determine the level of high-order thinking and problem-solving ability,and the shortcomings and problems of high school students in the field of chemistry learning are clarified.At the same time,we will conduct interviews with front-line teachers to understand the application of inquiry-based teaching and implementation suggestions.According to the survey results,the compatibility between 5E teaching mode and deep learning is analyzed and summarized,and the basic teaching framework is designed based on deep learning theory,and targeted teaching strategies are analyzed and proposed.Finally,part of the content of chemical elements and their compounds in the high school of the People’s Teaching Edition is selected for teaching design and practice,and the teaching is implemented in the experimental class in two classes of the same level.After the practice,the learning effect of the two classes was tested through classroom assessment scales,post-test questionnaires and examinations.Through practice,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The classroom evaluation scale shows that all aspects of the 5E teaching mode have different degrees of promotion to achieve the goal level of deep learning.(2)The comparative analysis of the before and after questionnaire data showed that the deep learning level of the experimental class and the control class were improved,but there was a significant improvement in the thinking,cognition and emotion of the students in the experimental class.(3)Analyzing the test results of the two classes,it was found that the average score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class.Through the above research,it is proved that the 5E teaching mode based on deep learning theory has certain advantages in promoting deep learning in chemistry for high school students. |
