In recent years, with the continuous development of sports in China, the Ministry of Education attaches great importance to the development of physical education curriculum,in the "Sports and Health" teaching reform guidelines clearly put forward to let students participate in physical exercise at the same time enjoy sports fun, help students exercise effectively, master skills, improve ability, experience success,so that they can really enjoy it.Badminton,as an elective course in college physical education, has a high popularity in China and has always been loved by students. However, some studies have found that students’ mastery of badminton skills is not ideal, because the teaching methods are too single,it is difficult to meet the needs of students’ skills. Therefore,it is necessary to open up new ideas and methods on the basis of traditional teaching mode.Based on the existing teaching materials, methods and characteristics of badminton events, combined with similar technology, movement transfer and other related theories, this paper creates a set of teaching methods(five-point teaching method)that is more suitable for badminton teaching of ordinary college students with zero foundation. And the "five-point teaching method" is applied to the teaching of public badminton elective courses,by first letting students learn the strength of five points, master the core movements of technology, and provide help for the follow-up technical learning.Thereby improving badminton learning efficiency and hitting quality, better mastering various skills, improving students’interest in learning, and cultivating the habit of lifelong exercise.By using the methods of literature research and experiment, this paper selects two classes of Badminton Class in Grade 2021 of the Minzu University of China as the experimental class(five-point teaching method)and the control class(traditional teaching method).Through the unit test, sports skills(technical effect+technical evaluation),sports learning interest and movement skills maintenance indicators to verify the teaching effect of this method.SPSS23.0 software is used to process and analyze the data, and draw conclusions and make suggestions. The results are as follows:(1)There were significant differences between the experimental class and the control class in each technical index test, whether in unit stage test or post-test(P<0.05).(2)In the aspect of interest in physical education, there was no significant difference between the control group before and after the experiment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference between the experimental group before and after the experiment(P<0.05),and there was a very significant difference between the control group and the experimental group after the experiment(P<0.01).(3)In the aspect of skill retention rate, the experimental group is obviously better than the control group. The conclusions are as follows:Through empirical research,it is verified that the teaching scheme of badminton course in public sports based on "five-point teaching method" is feasible, and good teaching effect has been achieved in teaching."Five-point teaching method" has a positive and significant impact on badminton skills, sports learning interest and movement skills of college badminton elective students.Based on the "five-point teaching method" design of five technical teaching links and the corresponding force teaching, not only improve the efficiency of technical learning, but also make the basic technology more integrated in series,in line with the development trend of teaching reform, can provide new reference for badminton teaching methods.
