| With the advancement of educational reform,the teaching design of large units has gradually become a new teaching design form to implement the concept of the new curriculum reform,cultivate students’ core qualities,and adapt to the future development of education.To better develop and implement large unit teaching design,this study introduces a new teaching design model——UbD theory.The UbD theory was first proposed by the American curriculum experts Grant Wykins and Jay McTiger.The full name is Understanding by Design,which means the instructional design of the pursuit of understanding.The theory of learning results as the starting point,dominated by reverse thinking,emphasizes the evaluation design before the learning process design,in cultivating students to understand the core content effect is obvious,therefore,this study try to UbD theory applied to the primary school Chinese large unit teaching design,explore the help students to achieve language understanding in the new period,to carry out the core literacy of primary school Chinese large unit teaching design new scheme.First,In this study,the Chinese teachers from four primary schools in Y city,With the help of questionnaires and interview methods,Investigate the current situation of teaching design in primary school,The study found that there are two main problems in the teaching design of primary school Chinese large unit:on the one hand,the problem of teachers,Teachers’ understanding of large unit teaching design is not high,and the frequency of teachers carrying out large unit teaching design is low;On the other hand is the problem of instructional design,That is,the problems existing in the process of large unit teaching design,For example,the large unit teaching objective design is arbitrary and the exam-oriented tendency is obvious;The teaching design is stereotyped and the teaching method is single;There is a disconnect between large-unit teaching evaluation design and target design,Affect the comprehensiveness,comprehensiveness and coherence of students’ understanding.Next,Based on the current situation of the teaching design of primary school Chinese large unit,This study first explains why the teaching design of primary school Chinese large unit is conducted based on UbD theory from the two aspects of necessity and feasibility,And on this basis,further clarify how to carry out the primary school Chinese large unit teaching design based on the UbD theory,This paper discusses in detail the five key ideas of the teaching design of primary school Chinese large unit based on UbD theory(with students’ understanding as the core;Take the reverse thinking as the direction;Guided by learning goals;Guided by the big concept of the subject;Take the basic problems as the carrier),the three principles(systematic principle;Principles of integration of objectives,activities and evaluation;Natural nature principles)and the specific operational procedures,It points out the direction for the teaching design of primary school Chinese large unit based on UbD theory.Once more,This study conducted the teaching design of large unit based on UbD theory,Show a complete,the pursuit of understanding of the primary school Chinese large unit teaching design case,And implemented the teaching design case in the classroom teaching,Finally,by collecting and sorting out various evidence about students’ learning results,The following three conclusions are drawn:first,the teaching design of primary school Chinese unit based on UbD theory is conducive to students’understanding and mastering knowledge;Secondly,the teaching design of primary school Chinese large unit based on UbD theory is helpful to cultivate students’ core literacy;Thirdly,the teaching design of large unit of primary school Chinese based on UbD theory has strong operability.Finally,this study proposes the application of UbD theory to the teaching design of primary school Chinese unit.The first line teachers:deeply understand and try to apply UbD theory;the second is schools and relevant education departments:to provide various support for the development of UbD theory;and the third is subsequent researchers:they continue to pay attention to and practice the UbD theory.Under the joint efforts of various subjects,it is expected to promote the practical application of UbD theory in the teaching design of primary school Chinese large unit. |
