In 2022,The State Council issued the New Generation of Artificial Intelligence Development Plan to strengthen the education of the new generation of artificial intelligence,and the Compulsory Education Information Technology Curriculum Standards will be included in the junior middle school information technology curriculum system and the framework of artificial intelligence and smart society,in order to better promote future scientific and technological innovation.In recent years,many countries have attached importance to artificial intelligence education,and the artificial intelligence education in our country is also gradually implementing,but the teaching content is different in different places.By analyzing the actual needs of X middle School and integrating the existing educational resources of X Middle School,this research hopes to design a junior high school artificial intelligence course based on project-based learning.The 2022 Curriculum Standards for Information Technology in Compulsory Education require the development of computational thinking in learners.In particular,the concept of project-based learning is highlighted,which is exactly the teaching model we adopted in the development of the AI curriculum in order to achieve good teaching results.The existing teaching method is still mainly taught by teachers,and the teaching method of project-based learning advocated in the new curriculum standard is difficult to integrate into classroom teaching.Therefore,in order to effectively combine project-based learning with AI curriculum,this paper designs a junior high school AI curriculum based on project-based learning through three stages:literature analysis stage,curriculum design stage and curriculum implementation and evaluation stage.In the literature analysis stage,this study analyzed and sorted out relevant theories and typical cases of project-based learning and artificial intelligence at home and abroad,and explained the main process of project-based learning,the importance of artificial intelligence to social development,curriculum implementation environment and required tools.In the course design stage,according to the actual situation of X Middle School,the specific links of project design and artificial intelligence education are combined to design a project-based junior high school artificial intelligence course,and ten links including project selection,resource preparation,knowledge preparation,scheme determination,plan making,program control,operation debugging,design iteration,evaluation and display and harvest reflection are summarized.In the implementation stage of the project,the seventh grade students of X Middle School in Yinchuan were taken as the experimental objects,and combined with the existing teaching resources of X Middle School,the artificial intelligence teaching activities based on project-based learning were carried out.Finally,through data analysis,it is proved that the artificial intelligence course designed in this study is feasible in X Middle School,and most students have improved their computational thinking to some extent by learning this course.
