Objective: Cupping therapy has been used to relieve muscle pain,and-20 KPa to-50 KPa is an effective range for cupping therapy in treating muscle pain. However, cupping therapy has shown conflicting results in clinical studies, and it is unclear whether the negative pressure size of cupping therapy affects the recovery effect of delayed onset muscle soreness(DOMS),limiting the use of cupping therapy in clinical practice. Therefore, the objective of this study was to study the intervention effect of different negative pressure on quadriceps DOMS,and to explore the intervention effect and mechanism of cupping therapy under different negative pressure on DOMS by analyzing the lower limb explosiveness level,VAS scale, muscle swelling degree and blood biochemical index,so as to provide a reference for different groups to apply cupping therapy after exercise.Research Methods: In this study,a double-blind,randomized,controlled experiment was used, with the quadriceps as the research object, and the 55 male college students recruited were divided into control group,-25 KPa group(group A),-35 KPa group(group B),-45 KPa group(group C),-55 KPa group(group D),and 11 people in each group. The modeling method of DOMS disease refers to the modeling method of Hung B-L et al.: 6 groups of lunge walking(20 in each group),6 groups of squats(20 in each group),6 groups of squat jumps(20 in each group),with an interval of 30 seconds within the group and 3 minutes between groups.Cupping treatment:-25 KPa,-35 KPa,-45 KPa,-55 KPa immediately after the end of exercise modeling. The control group did not carry out other interventions except motion modeling, and the experimental intervention used DGN-6 generation multifunctional vacuum machine to complete cupping treatment.Index sampling time was divided into 24 h before and 24 h after exercise modeling.VAS score, lower limb explosive power index,Creatine Kinase(CK),lactate dehydrogenase were measured.LDH),interleukin-6(IL-6),αtumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),heat shock protein 27(Hsp-27),Thigh circumference(TC),and Range of motion(Range of motion),(ROM)to analyze the effect of cupping therapy on delayed muscle soreness under different negative pressure values and the possible mechanism of improving exercise performance. The results of the results:(1)The VAS score in the group was found by paired t-test that there was a significant significance in the 24 h before and after exercise in each group(P <0.01).One-way ANOVA showed that the pain level between the groups was significantly different from that of the control group 24 h after exercise(P <0.05),and the results of multiple comparisons between the groups showed that group D had the best recovery effect(P<0.05).The effects of cupping intervention were sorted as Group D> Group C> Group B > Group A.(2)The 30 m running performance and standing long jump performance in the group were found to be statistically significant in the 24 h before and after exercise in each group(P<0.05)through the paired t-test.One-way ANOVA found that the 30 m running performance and standing long jump performance between groups were statistically significant 24 h after exercise(P<0.05),and the results of multiple comparisons between groups showed that group D had the best recovery effect on exercise ability(P<0.05).The effects of cupping intervention were sorted as Group D>Group C> Group B.(3)The left and right thigh circumference in the group was found by pairing t-test,and there was no significant significance in the 24 h before and after exercise in each group(P>0.05).One-way ANOVA showed that there was no significant difference between the groups between the left and right thigh circumference in 24 h before and after exercise(P>0.05).(4)The range of motion of the left and right knee joints in the group was found by pairing t-test,and the intrinsic 24 h before and after exercise in each group was statistically significant(P<0.05).One-way ANOVA showed that the left and right knee motion between groups was statistically significant 24 h after exercise(P<0.05),and the results of multiple comparisons between groups showed that group C and D had the best recovery effect(P<0.05).The effects of cupping intervention were sorted as Group C≥ Group D > Group B.Paired T-test showed that the flexion motion of left and right hip joints in each group had statistical significance 24 hours before and after exercise(P < 0.05).The single factor analysis of variance showed that the left hip flexion motion between the groups was statistically significant 24 h after exercise(P < 0.05).Multiple comparison results showed that group C had the best recovery effect(P < 0.05),and the effect of cupping intervention was ranked as group C > Group D > Group B.Univariate analysis of variance showed that there was no significant difference in right hip flexion motion among all groups at 24 h before and after exercise(P > 0.05).(5)The levels of serum CK and LDH in each group were statistically significant at 24 h before and after exercise(P < 0.05)by paired T-test.The serum CK and LDH levels between groups were statistically significant 24 h after exercise by one-way variance analysis(P < 0.05),and the results of multiple comparison between groups afterward showed that the serum CK and LDH levels in groups C and D basically recovered to the levels before modeling(P < 0.05).Paired t test showed that serum levels of IL-6,TNF-α and Hsp27 in each group were statistically significant before and 24 hours after exercise(P < 0.05),while serum levels of Hsp27 were not statistically significant before and 24 hours after exercise(P >0.05).One-way variance analysis showed that there were no significant differences in serum levels of IL-6,TNF-α and Hsp27 among groups before and after exercise(P <0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that Hsp-27 was positively correlated with IL-6 and TNF-α(r>0,P< 0.05).Conclusions:Cupping therapy can relieve the soreness of the body, improve the range of motion of the joint, and contribute to the recovery of athletic ability, and the greater the cupping pressure, the more obvious the intervention effect.Cupping therapy can improve serum CK and LDH levels after DOMS,accelerate the recovery rate of IL-6,TNF-α and Hsp27,help to restore the degree of muscle injury, reduce the level of stress response and reduce the degree of inflammation.
