| As a part of the internal quality assurance system of graduate education,the students’ evaluation of teaching has a very important role in monitoring the quality of master’s degree students’ teaching and improving teachers’ teaching.However,the current literature on master’s degree students’ evaluation is not rich,and the existing literature is mostly a detailed study of a certain group or a certain part of the evaluation activity,which is one-sided in reflecting the current situation and problems of master’s degree students’ evaluation.Therefore,in this situation,it is necessary to conduct a complete dynamic process study on the assessment activities of master’s students to control the current situation of master’s students’ assessment as a whole.This study takes University of H as a case to conduct an in-depth empirical investigation and research.The researcher considers the dynamic process of master’s degree students’ evaluation activities as a whole,takes the participants of master’s degree students’ evaluation activities as the investigation object,investigates the teachers,students and administrators through questionnaires and interviews to understand the current situation of master’s degree students’ evaluation activities,and analyzes the text of the system and other documents of H university with the text analysis method,so as to investigate the problems that arise in the whole dynamic process of master’s degree students’ evaluation activities.The survey finds that although there is a relatively perfect institutional arrangement for the evaluation of master’s degree students in university H,the following problems still exist in the actual operation: both teachers and students do not know enough about the awareness of the evaluation activity and the details of the specific implementation;the implementation of the diversification of the organization form of evaluation is not in place;the setting of the evaluation indexes is not designed with the characteristics of the master’s degree courses,and the richness is lacking;the use of the evaluation results is not enough,and the in-depth analysis of the causes behind the results is not enough;and the actual follow-up of supervision measures needs to be strengthened.Based on the analysis of the survey data,the researcher proposed the suggestions of "improving the awareness of teaching evaluation and building a quality culture","moving away from passive teaching evaluation and encouraging spontaneous and diversified teaching evaluation","adding teaching harvest indicators and setting objective evaluation criteria","advocating the analysis of teaching evaluation results and timely follow-up feedback" and "playing the main role of academies and supervising the implementation of monitoring measures",so as to improve the effectiveness of master students’ teaching evaluation,promote teachers’ teaching improvement and improve the quality of master students’ teaching. |
