Research On Talent Cultivation Objectives Of Vocational Undergraduate Education In China

Abstract/Summary:
With the development of economic transformation and the optimization and adjustment of industrial structure,the demand for high-level technical skills is increasing day by day,leading to an increasing gap of high-level technical skills talents.China has been making continuous efforts to fill the gap of high-level technical skills talents.Since 2014,when the development of vocational undergraduate education was first clearly proposed,a series of policy documents have been issued to support the development of vocational undergraduate education.It not only meets the demand of high-level technical talents for economic transformation and development,but also improves the whole vocational education development system.In the process of vigorously developing vocational undergraduate education,training high-level skilled talents is the fundamental task of developing vocational undergraduate education,and establishing scientific and clear talent training objectives is a key link to help vocational undergraduate education to successfully train high-level skilled talents.This study takes the Vocational Education Law of the People’s Republic of China as the legal basis,and under the guidance of the law of the internal and external relations of higher education and the talent structure theory of "vocational belt",it uses literature analysis,text analysis,interview method and comparative research method to make an in-depth analysis of the talent training objectives of vocational colleges at home and abroad.Based on the school source,number change,regional distribution and school-running nature of 32 vocational undergraduate pilot colleges in our country,talent cultivation goals of 20 vocational colleges are screened and analyzed by taking Henan Vocational University of Science and Technology as an example,and the case analysis is carried out to enrich the research content.In this paper,the characteristics and development experiences of vocational undergraduate education objectives in Germany,America and Japan are discussed,which will provide some references for the improvement of vocational undergraduate education objectives.It is found that,at present,there are some characteristics in the talent cultivation goal of vocational undergraduate education,such as empty goal,unfocused goal,uncharacteristic goal convergence and simply extending the talent cultivation goal of junior college period,which need to be further improved and optimized.On the basis of referring to the experience of Germany,America,and Japan,and based on our national conditions and the actual development of vocational universities,this paper makes clear that the goals of vocational education personnel training should be guided by our national policies and strengthen the following points: Firstly,the goal of talent training should focus on the development of colleges,regional economic development and students’ professional development.Secondly,to highlight the characteristics of regional economic development and the characteristics of the school itself;Finally,we should keep pace with The Times,take off the "hat" of junior college,highlight the "undergraduate level",and run the "craftsman spirit" through the goal of talent training.
