Study On The Optimization Of Social Work Services For Institutionalized Aging From The Perspective Of Active Aging

The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee clearly put forward "the national strategy of actively dealing with aging",and how to improve basic elderly services and promote the concept and practice of active aging has become the focus of the whole society.With the deepening of aging in China,especially in Chongqing,which is facing a more serious aging problem,institutional elderly care,as one of the three major ways of aging in China,has the responsibility and obligation to turn the pressure of aging into the driving force of society.Faced with the urgent need for transformation and development of institutional elderly care,social work has been an integral part of institutional elderly care with scientific theoretical methods and professional and standardized elderly care services since the Opinions on Promoting the Development of Elderly Care Services was proposed in 2019,thus the study and exploration of the service optimization path of social work can make valuable references to improve the level of institutional elderly care services and alleviate the aging problem.This paper takes Chongqing C public aged care institutions as the main research object,through questionnaire survey method and semi-structured interview method,to comprehensively understand and summarize the living condition,active aging level and the current situation of social work’s aged care service practice of the residents in the institutions,the research finds that the level of active aging of the residents varies greatly among individuals,especially active learning to integrate into society,active giving to society and establishing economic security.Three dimensions are in urgent need of development,and demographic factors such as health,gender,and age have significant effects on active aging;secondly,social work services are explored around the three pillars of active aging,and the study finds that social work itself faces problems such as low practical experience of social workers,insufficient specialization,and single service content when promoting the development of active aging.Therefore,in order to better explore the path of service optimization,we analyze the causes of the problem and the dilemma of promoting active aging,which are: large differences in individual elderly residents,incomplete supply of services by social work itself,insufficient attention to active aging,and insufficient institutional management system.Thus,around the goal of promoting the development of institutional elderly services,under the guidance of the theory of positive aging,the path of optimizing social work services is proposed: first,grasp and build the foundation of physical and psychological health,supply personalized and multi-level recreational basic activities,absorb and train professional service talents to promote professional services of spiritual comfort;second,pay attention to the development of social participation,broaden the practice path and service system of diversified participation,enhance Third,focusing on the disadvantages and goals of the current institutional elderly care services,social work should play a multifaceted role such as policy advocacy to protect the development rights and interests of the disadvantaged groups and achieve the overall development of the elderly care services.
