| Group reading is an innovative practice in reading teaching.The "group reading" of group reading is related to "individual articles",but "group reading" is not as simple as the superposition of "individual articles".The combination of group reading has its inherent connection.Group reading solves the drawbacks of single reading,allowing students to generate their own unique reading experience during the reading process,Promote the development of students’ innovative thinking,critical thinking,and other abilities.Modern and contemporary prose is a key focus of high school Chinese language teaching.The application of group reading teaching in high school Chinese modern and contemporary prose reading teaching can enable students to concentrate on reading more modern and contemporary prose texts within a limited time,experience the unique charm of prose,and gain a beautiful experience.The teaching of group reading is most widely used in primary school,but it is insufficient in high school,especially in the field of contemporary prose.This paper mainly studies the group reading teaching of modern and contemporary Chinese prose in high school from five aspects:The first part first defines the concepts of prose and group reading,and then analyzes the theoretical basis for the application of group reading in high school modern and contemporary prose reading teaching.Finally,the feasibility of group reading in high school modern and contemporary prose teaching is demonstrated from three aspects: students,modern and contemporary prose style,and Chinese curriculum.In the second part,high school students and high school Chinese teachers from two high schools in Yongchuan District,Chongqing were selected as the survey subjects.Two sets of questionnaires were distributed to students and teachers to investigate the current situation of modern prose group reading teaching in high schools.The survey found that there is a serious tendency towards utilitarianism in teaching prose reading among teachers and schools;Teachers have insufficient understanding of "group reading";Teachers’ awareness of active learning is weak;Teachers do not have a good grasp of the methods of implementing group reading;The school’s advocacy for group reading is not strong.On the student side,students lack interest in learning prose;Students have deviations in their understanding of prose learning;Students lack understanding of group reading;Students have expectations for exploratory reading methods;Students have insufficient understanding of group reading.The third part is the attribution analysis of the two sets of questionnaires issued,which makes it clear that the current problems in the teaching of modern prose group reading in high school focus on the teaching goal of "exam oriented" teachers,teachers’ lack of awareness of active learning,students’ lack of interest in learning prose,deviations in the understanding of group reading,and schools’ lack of advocacy for new teaching models.The fourth part analyzes the organizational strategies for high school modern prose group reading teaching from three aspects: the formulation of topics,the combination of texts,collective construction,and reaching consensus.In order to achieve ideal results in the application of group reading teaching method in modern prose reading teaching in high school,the author combines literature and personal practice to propose the following teaching strategies: firstly,establish core literacy awareness and set reasonable teaching objectives;Second,establish the awareness of active learning and update teaching methods and concepts;Thirdly,taking students as the main body and respecting their subject status;Fourthly,improve the evaluation mechanism for teaching prose group reading;Fifth,schools should increase their advocacy for group reading teaching.The teaching strategy is proposed to better guide teaching practice,and group reading and single reading have their own advantages and disadvantages.The fifth part adopts the method of combining single reading teaching and group reading teaching to teach each other,so as to achieve the best teaching effect.The author starts from the reading teaching classroom of frontline high school teachers,analyzes the problems in the current teaching of modern and contemporary prose reading in high school,and hopes that frontline teachers can apply group reading to the teaching of modern and contemporary prose reading in high school,and solve the drawbacks of single reading teaching. |
