As socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,China’s economy has shifted to a period of high-quality development,which puts forward higher requirements for talents in the new era.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in the report of the Party’s20 National Congress that training a large number of high-quality talents with both moral and ability is the long-term development of the country and the nation.Advanced thinking ability is the key ability necessary for high quality talents,and school is the main position of advanced thinking ability cultivation.As a key course for schools to implement the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people,ideological and political courses in senior high schools bear the important mission of cultivating high-quality talents with both moral integrity and talent.Discriminative learning is a high-level learning method for ideological and political courses in high schools,which emphasizes thinking,discrimination,and analysis.It helps promote students’ ability to form independent thinking,distinguish right from wrong,innovate,and create,and gradually achieve advanced thinking.Therefore,it is the inescapable responsibility of ideological and political courses in high schools to cultivate students’ high-level thinking abilities in discriminative learning and cultivate high-quality talents with both moral integrity and talent for high-quality development.This paper mainly consists of the following six parts.Part Ⅰ: Introduction.It mainly introduces the reason and significance of the topic selection of this study,the current research situation at home and abroad,the key and difficult points of research,research ideas and methods,innovation and shortcomings.Part Ⅱ: Analysis of discriminative learning and advanced thinking ability.This paper introduces the basic connotation,main characteristics and theoretical basis of discriminative learning and higher order thinking ability.Part Ⅲ: the necessity and feasibility of advanced thinking ability cultivation of high school ideological and political courses based on discriminative learning.The necessity is elaborated mainly in combination with the relevant requirements of the era background,new curriculum standard and new college entrance examination,while the feasibility is elaborated mainly from two aspects: students’ existing thinking basis and the requirement of discriminative learning to meet the cultivation conditions of higher-order thinking ability.Part Ⅳ: Investigation and analysis of the current situation of the cultivation of advanced thinking ability in high school ideological and political courses based on discriminative learning.Through the investigation and interview of the practice school,the current situation and attribution analysis are carried out from the level of teachers and students.Part Ⅴ: The implementation strategy of advanced thinking ability cultivation in high school ideological and political courses based on discriminative learning.This part is the core part of the thesis.This paper mainly introduces how to promote the cultivation of students’ advanced thinking ability by strengthening the learning basis of discrimination,selecting high-quality discrimination theme,creating reasonable discrimination situation and carrying out sequential discrimination activities.Part Ⅵ: The specific application of the cultivation of advanced thinking ability in high school ideological and political courses based on discrimination learning.Based on the proposed training strategies,the two compulsory courses of "Ministry Edition" ideological and political courses in senior high schools are selected as cases for demonstration.
