| Innovation is the inherent driving force of human development,and it determines the trend of human future development.The generation of innovation requires creativity and imagination.When creativity becomes the core competitiveness,the country and society urgently demand innovative talents.It is precisely in this way that cultivating creative individuals has become an inevitable requirement of the development of the times for education.The core of creativity cultivation is to cultivate people’s imagination and innovative spirit.Divergent thinking can expand imagination,promote innovative spirit,and cultivate problem-solving abilities.Divergent thinking can provide a vast imagination space,activate the brain’s thinking fluency,richness,and flexibility,so cultivating divergent thinking is in line with the needs of the times.However,the traditional education implemented in the past lacked the cultivation of students’ imagination and thinking,and improving the shortcomings of traditional education in this regard is an urgent problem that needs to be solved.The goal of "Design · Application" art practice teaching in the art discipline is to cultivate creativity and focus on problem-solving.This practice teaching field sets up diverse and innovative learning content,and teachers start with visual perception to guide students to carefully observe works.Through problem setting,students are inspired to think,enrich their imagination space,and encourage their thinking activity,Promote students’ divergent thinking and cultivate their imagination and problem-solving abilities.The first part is an introduction,explaining the research background,purpose,and significance,summarizing the current research status at home and abroad,and providing research ideas and methods.The second part is about the concept and expression of divergent thinking,exploring the concept and classification of divergent thinking,as well as the characteristics of divergent thinking in art teaching.The third part is about the art practice of "design·application" in junior high school art and the cultivation of divergent thinking.It explores the relationship between compulsory education art curriculum standards and divergent thinking,as well as the cultivation of divergent thinking in the art practice of "design·application" in junior high school art.The fourth part is the teaching strategy for cultivating divergent thinking in the art practice of "design·application" in junior high school art.It provides strategies from several aspects,such as problem-solving teaching,linking with real-life situations,project-based teaching,mind mapping,Mercedes Benz method,and open soft environment.The fifth part is the application verification of teaching strategies for teaching design and divergent thinking cultivation.The author utilized the internship opportunity to apply the case designed in this article in reality,and validated it with the "Torrance Creativity Scale".The validation results showed that the experimental group that focuses on cultivating divergent thinking performed better.This article explores the teaching strategies for cultivating divergent thinking in middle school art teaching.It is hoped that this article can bring thinking to art teachers in carrying out classroom teaching work,improve the shortcomings in traditional classrooms,activate the classroom atmosphere,and light up the concept of the classroom. |
