The integration of urban and rural areas, the in-depth implementation of the rural revitalization policy and the in-depth inclination of educational resources have led to the development of China’s urban and rural economies, but the gap between urban and rural areas still exists, and the physical health of students is still a key concern in urban and rural areas. As adolescents in the rebellious period of youth development face more temptations in the smart age, adolescent physical health faces great challenges, and the development of adolescent physical exercise habits is particularly important at this time. The aim of this paper is to understand the basic situation of physical exercise habits of young people in urban and rural areas,to analyse the specific factors affecting the development of physical exercise habits in urban and rural areas,to find out the specific differences between urban and rural areas, and to design a research programme based on this problem under the national policy of "double reduction" and "double increase".The research programme will identify the factors influencing the development of physical exercise habits among young people, compare and analyse the factors influencing the development of physical exercise habits among young people in urban and rural areas with those in some parts of the country, and finally put forward feasible suggestions that are in line with the development of physical exercise habits among young people in urban and rural areas,in order to provide a theoretical basis for improving the development of physical exercise habits among young people in urban and rural areas in Heze.Research method: This paper integrates literature, questionnaires, comparative analysis and other research methods to conduct an in-depth investigation into the development of physical exercise habits among urban and rural adolescents.1202 students from four junior high schools in urban and rural areas of Heze City were used as the subjects of the survey, mainly using the questionnaire of Weng Mengqian’s "Secondary School Students’ Physical Exercise Habit Scale" to conduct distribution surveys and field surveys to investigate the current situation of physical exercise habits among adolescents in rural and urban areas, using independent sample tests, entropy values and other methods to classify the data and analyze the significant differences in the factors influencing the development of physical exercise habits.Finding:1.The mean value of the Physical Activity Habit Scale for urban adolescents was 44.25,while for rural adolescents it was 45.63.There was a significant difference in the time spent exercising between urban and rural areas, and there was no significant difference in the frequency of exercise between urban and rural areas.2.Personal factors: There were significant differences between urban and rural areas in terms of post-exercise status, perception of physical exercise,post-exercise mood, and knowledge of motor skills, but there were no significant differences in the form of physical exercise, motivation to exercise, and mastery of motor skills.Family factors: There were significant differences in parents’ enjoyment of physical activity, attitude towards physical activity and parents’ education.School factors: There were significant differences between urban and rural areas in terms of the level of physical activity of young people, school sports facilities and equipment, and school health education programmes.Social factors: There are significant differences between urban areas and townships in terms of the physical activity atmosphere around the home, sports facilities and equipment at the place of residence, and the choice of physical activity venues for young people.3.When gender was used as the variable, there were significant differences between urban and rural male and female adolescents in terms of time spent on physical exercise, enjoyment of physical exercise,post-exercise mood, and organised activities at school. When grade was used as the variable, there were significant differences in physical exercise habits and post-exercise mood between urban and rural grades. The study concluded that:1.the development of physical exercise habits among urban and rural adolescents in Heze is at a moderately high level, the current situation of the development of physical exercise habits among urban and rural boys is better than that of girls, the persistence of exercise behaviour shown by boys is slightly stronger than that of girls, and the persistence of exercise behaviour in urban and rural areas needs further cultivation.2.In terms of the overall dimension, personal, school, family and social factors influence each other, among which the main factor affecting the habit formation of urban and rural adolescents is the personal factor. The personal factors are significantly higher than those in the urban areas in terms of physical condition after exercise, emotion after exercise, and knowledge of motor skills.Among other factors, parents in both urban and rural areas are supportive of physical exercise, but parents in urban areas are not sufficiently aware of physical exercise and lack physical exercise behaviour, while the atmosphere of physical exercise in families in townships is slightly stronger, and the strong exercise atmosphere is beneficial to the development of habits;the perfect school facilities in urban areas are conducive to the development of physical exercise habits among young people, and the teachers’ qualifications, school environment and sports facilities are all very perfect and better than those in townships. The 15-minute national fitness circle around urban areas is sound, and the choice of sports and exercise venues is diversified, but the sports and exercise atmosphere in urban areas is not as good as that in rural towns.3.The main factors affecting men and women in urban and rural areas are slightly different. The common factors affecting men and women in urban and rural areas are mainly the ways to understand skills, the satisfaction of school venues, and the number of extracurricular exercises. The importance of physical exercise to learning is one of the influencing factors for men and women in urban areas. The main influence factor of physical exercise habit formation in urban and rural areas is the emotional influence after exercise. |
