| China’s urban and rural areas have been in a dichotomous pattern for a long time, and integrated urban-rural development has become an effective means to break this pattern. From the socio-spatial perspective,urban-rural integrated development is the result of the role of urban-rural spatial structure and elements, and the issue of urbanrural integrated development is a process of overcoming urban-rural spatial inequality, reorganizing spatial structure relationship and spatial integration.Various elements flow and exchange in urban-rural space, constantly shaping new urban-rural relations and urban-rural spatial patterns. Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to urbanrural spatial integration and elements flow to promote urban-rural integrated development. In the flow of urban and rural spatial elements, the flow of population elements can promote the flow and optimization of other elements and resources, and also lead to changes in the relationship between urban and rural spatial structures, which in turn has an impact on the development of urban-rural integration.Considering the unique advantages and values of counties as important carriers of new urbanization, this paper, based on the background of urban-rural integration development in counties and spatial analysis thinking, attempts to collect primary data and analyze the relationship between population elements flow and urban-rural integration development level from the perspective of spatial sociology, measures the urban-rural integration degree of the investigated counties, and combines GIS technology to conduct a study on the spatial characteristics of population elements flow at the county level. The spatial characteristics of the flow of population elements at the county level are analyzed, with the aim of reshaping the urban-rural spatial structure through optimizing the flow of population elements, and thus promoting urban-rural integrated development. The final conclusion is that orderly flow of the population elements contributes to the development of urban-rural integration, and this conclusion passes the robustness test.In addition, there is a significant spatial clustering effect of population density in the studied counties, and the spatial structure of population density of "large concentration and small dispersion" is more conducive to the development of urbanrural integration. The study summarizes the types and characteristics of population factor flows in the context of urban-rural integration in the county, which are work, family relationship, residential change, and schooling, and their corresponding spatial characteristics. On this basis, this study finds that in the development of urban-rural spatial integration in the county area, the flow of population elements has problems such as insufficient two-way flow dynamics and inadequate supporting measures, and puts forward spatial policy recommendations in a targeted manner. This study focuses on population elements and analyzes the role of their flow and spatial layout on the development of urban-rural spatial integration in the county, which not only helps to improve the depth of elements flow research, but also provides a new path to promote urban-rural integration development. In addition, based on spatial analysis thinking, this study pays full attention to the spatial information of population factor flows, and realizes an innovative supplement to urban-rural integration research with the help of new thinking, new technology and new methods. |
