The dual structure system of urban and rural areas has led to uneven development between urban and rural areas in China, resulting in a dualistic pattern of urban-rural division. This system has left urban and rural differences in rural development, such as a "city biased"household registration system, spatial rights and interests, ideas and spatial forms. The construction of new-type urbanization promotes the free flow of human flow, logistics, information flow, capital flow and technology flow between urban and rural areas, further promoting urban and rural development.New city expansion is an important measure to promote the development of new urbanization. From the perspective of space of flows,Jinan East Railway Station located on Wang Sheren Street has become an important transportation hub under the construction of the new city.It connects highways, subways, railways and other modes of transportation, greatly disperses the flow of people, vehicles and logistics, and builds an invisible space of flows through the flow of elements in the space, forming network nodes and rapidly changing the local urban-rural spatial pattern. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the process from division to integration of urban and rural space in the new era from the perspective of the space of flows and to pay attention to the space integration of urban and rural. The flow of population, land, capital, information and technology throughout the whole process of urban-rural integration is the key to building a new type of urban-rural relationship and promoting urban-rural integrated development. The rural-urban integration system is a complex system with multi-levels,multi-elements and multi-functions,which has a profound connotation.Although the flow space is more inclined to the macro background on the whole, and the flow of space elements is relatively macro,it can be reflected through the phenomenon of micro field. The author believes that this kind of macro flow space framework can be reflected in the micro street scope. Therefore, this paper studies a case that reflects flow space on the micro-scale,which is typical and representative. The core issues of this study are:how the urban and rural space from segmentation to integration; What is the performance of urban-rural space integration; What spatial elements are still not integrated? This paper mainly explains the above core issues from the following three aspects:1.The historical logic and practical logic of the formation of space of flows under the construction of local new city;2.The spatial expression of urban and rural space from segmentation to integration;3.Problems existing in the current urban-rural space integration. From the perspective of the "space of flows" theory, this paper makes a preliminary empirical analysis on the "space of flows" formed by the flow of traffic elements in Wang Sheren street and the urban-rural spatial phenomenon from segmentation to integration with the field research method and spatial analysis thinking. This paper holds that the construction and expansion of new cities driven by transportation elements is a beneficial attempt and practice to promote the integrated development of urban and rural areas, and provides the following answers to the above three research questions:Ⅰ.The spatial practice of local new city construction is roughly divided into three stages, and the formation and operation of the space of flows is mainly completed in the third stage.Ⅱ.The operation of the local mobile space is accompanied by a new configuration of elements and changes in the division of labor within the region. The local space shows a spatial trend from segmentation to integration in terms of spatial form, spatial elements, spatial boundaries, ideas, and spatial rights and interests.Ⅲ.The overall trend of local urban and rural space integration is good, but there are problems in spatial absorption and spatial rights and interests and security, which are not integrated or not fully integrated. This paper makes a positive judgment on the spatial development of Wang Sheren Street in the next ten years and puts forward a tentative solution to the existing problems. The innovation of this paper lies in the application of spatial analytical thinking to explore urban-rural integration from the perspective of space of flows, and the transportation hub is regarded as a factor worthy of attention in the aspect of influencing urban-rural integration from the perspective of space of flows. Finally,it is possible to further supplement the empirical data in this paper.Although the flow space theory has a macro perspective,it is feasible to explain the urban-rural spatial integration within the micro-scope from a macro perspective. |
