In 2019,the Ministry of Education and five other departments issued the Opinions on Strengthening the Teacher Team of Ideological and Political Theory Classes in Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era,which states,"Encourage teachers of primary and secondary schools to strengthen their research on the laws of student growth and teaching reform,and actively promote case-based,inquiry-based,experiential and interactive teaching.Encourage teachers to focus on the effectiveness of nurturing people to practice their internal skills." With the gradual advancement of the new curriculum reform,the use of the case-based teaching method is advocated in various subjects.2022 opens up a new era of education in China,putting forward higher requirements for the compulsory junior high school curriculum,which poses a greater challenge to front-line teachers,forcing them to innovate their teaching methods and adapt to the requirements of the Morality and Rule of Law Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education in Junior High School(2022 Edition).As a new teaching method,the case teaching method is widely used in the current education field.It can visually present theoretical knowledge to learners and combine it with the practical,which can enable learners to acquire theoretical knowledge and develop their ability to apply it in practice at the same time.Therefore,the case teaching method has been paid attention by the majority of junior high school morality and rule of law teachers and applied to classroom teaching.However,due to the constraints of many factors,there are many problems that need to be improved and enhanced in the application of case teaching method in junior high school morality and rule of law class.By reviewing the literature related to the case teaching method in the field of education,using literature research method,interview method,classroom observation method and case analysis method,and then combining my own experience in the internship,the author explores the current situation of the case teaching method in junior high school morality and rule of law class,the effectiveness achieved,the problems that still exist and the reasons for the problems,therefore,the optimization strategy of applying case teaching method in the teaching practice of moral and rule of law course in junior high school is put forward,and the new teaching methods and approaches of moral and rule of law course in junior high school are explored by enriching the relevant theories of case teaching method.The main contents of this paper include the following four aspects.In the first part,the background of the research conducted in this paper and the theoretical and practical significance of this study are mainly introduced,the research purpose and ideas of this study and the research method are proposed on the basis of the study of domestic and foreign literature,and this study has certain innovative points based on the predecessors,while there are still shortcomings.In the second part,on the basis of clarifying the relevant concepts of the case teaching method in moral and rule of law courses in junior high school,defines the feasibility of the implementation of the case teaching method,clarifies the basic requirements of the case teaching method and its application value in moral and rule of law teaching in junior high school.In the third part,through empirical research,summarizes the effectiveness and problems of implementing case teaching in junior high school morality and rule of law classes,and summarizes and analyzes the causes of the problems with the information of the empirical research.In the fourth part,in view of the problems that need to be improved in the implementation of case teaching in the moral and rule of Law course of junior middle school found in the empirical research,combined with the requirements of the Moral and Rule of Law Curriculum Standard for Junior Middle School Compulsory Education(2022 edition)and on the basis of following the basic procedure of case teaching method,This paper puts forward the optimization strategy of case teaching of morality and rule of law in junior middle school from three aspects: preparation stage,implementation stage and reflection stage after class.
