In the 21 st century,collaborative problem solving ability is a basic skill that students must master.Therefore,how to improve students’ collaborative problem solving ability has become a hot topic of current research.There are many ways to cultivate students’ collaborative problem-solving ability.Thematic teaching is a process of achieving subject objectives through learning activities such as problem solving and active inquiry.Therefore,This research focuses on the construction of theme-based teaching activities in senior middle school IT courses,with emphasis on the present situation of the classroom,and proposes the design of theme-based teaching activities oriented to the cultivation of collaborative problem-solving ability.Based on a great deal of related literature,the present situation of thematic teaching and cooperative problem solving is summarized.Guided by the Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,2020 revised),Constructivist Learning Theory,Collaborative Learning Theory,and Situational Cognition,and group dynamics theory,this paper selects the textbook Data and Computation(Ministry of Education Edition).Conduct thematic education.This paper constructs a theme-based teaching activity design framework for collaborative problem solving ability,and uses this framework to study teaching practice.A class of Senior One in H Province Experimental Middle School,53 students were selected as the study subjects.To demonstrate the validity of the problem based on collaborative problem solving in training students’ cooperative problem solving ability,the methods of questionnaire investigation,class observation and interview were used.The students’ collaborative problem-solving ability is measured and evaluated,and the data recovered from the experiment are analyzed and summarized.Through the research,the following conclusions can be drawn: theme-based teaching activity design oriented to the cultivation of collaborative problem-solving ability can effectively improve students’ collaborative problem-solving ability and has practical value in high school information technology teaching;Students who carry out theme-based teaching activities have improved significantly in the four dimensions of cooperation attitude,communication skills,coordination skills,learning and knowledge construction.Therefore,this study preliminarily validates the effectiveness of theme-based teaching activities oriented to the cultivation of collaborative problem-solving ability,which has certain significance and inspiration for the development of information technology curriculum in high school. |
