The college entrance examination is an authorized unit of the national authority or by a provincial education examination Institute that sets its questions,which has the dual functions of selecting talents and serving to teach.The current Chinese college entrance examination is in a period of parallelism between the old and new modes,and the content and form of the questions in the history subject have changed considerably,with the examination questions based on "new materials,new context and new problems" gradually becoming a consensus.As an essential part of the high school history curriculum and a compulsory part of the history subject’s examinations,the study of modern Chinese history questions in the entrance examinations plays an important role in improving the efficiency of revision and examination preparation and promoting classroom teaching reform.This dissertation takes the 2018-2022 National II(B)paper on Modern Chinese History as an example,conducts a systematic study of the examination on Modern Chinese History in the college entrance examination,investigates and analyses the current situation of preparation for the exams on Modern Chinese History in the subject of high school history,and proposes corresponding strategies for preparing for the examination on Modern Chinese History based on the results of the examination research and investigation analysis and combined with teaching cases.This paper consists of four parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the reason for choosing this theme,the significance of the research and the current situation of the study,to provide some input and reference to the content and method of this paper based on the existing research.The second part analyses modern Chinese history in the National II(B)paper in the past five years.It is the emphasis of this paper.Through the study,we find that the questions on modern Chinese history are based on the assessment system of the college entrance examination and the history curriculum standard,with a rich questioning style and increased openness,focusing on the knowledge of the textbook and presenting such examination characteristics as orientation,transferability,hierarchy and frontier.The third part uses questionnaires and measurement and evaluation methods to investigate the revision and preparation of modern Chinese history of high school history and to analyze the problems of teachers and students in the preparation of modern Chinese history based on the findings.In the fourth part,according to the teaching revelation of the college entrance examination questions and the investigation results of the current situation of test preparation,and combined with specific teaching cases,it proposes effective strategies for reviewing and preparing for the modern history of China,which is the core of this dissertation.In the process of preparing for the exam,teachers should study the evaluation system of the college entrance examination and the history curriculum standards,use a review method from point and line to plane to help students consolidate the necessary knowledge,and innovatively introduce historical research results to broaden the breadth of students’ knowledge area,and also combine the past exam questions of the college entrance examination over the years to strengthen key competencies of students.
