| With the continuous development of The Times,countries around the world are also undergoing earth-shaking changes in their requirements for people’s quality.Independent thinking,cooperation and mutual assistance and dynamic innovation have become the requirements of citizens in various countries,and the education carrying the cultivation of good social citizens has also been adjusted and innovated with The Times.The new curriculum reform in 2018 is a response to the changing times.The new curriculum reform contains the need to pay attention to the concept of discipline in education and transform teaching methods to cultivate core literacy of discipline to help students become "well-developed people".Project-based learning,as a new way,changes the traditional teaching mode of "teaching--receiving" in the classroom and conforms to the new requirements of The Times for talent cultivation.As an educational carrier,it enables learners to do,discover,understand,and develop the core quality and thinking ability of the subject.However,project-based learning can be adapted to the current educational form and naturally transferred to the classroom,in which the specific operation process has considerable researchability and value.In this paper,project-based learning is regarded as a teaching mode,and it is systematically studied and analyzed.Based on the characteristics of the history discipline and the teaching design,the application strategy of project-based learning in the history discipline is sorted out.This paper mainly includes five parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the reason for the topic selection and research significance of this paper,the research status at home and abroad,and the experience of the existing research.The second part is the concept definition and theoretical basis of project-based learning.It introduces the understanding and views of relevant scholars on the concept of project-based learning,proposes the definition of the concept of project-based learning in this paper,and explores the pedagogy and psychological theories that the development of project-based learning relies on.The third part expounds the value and principle of applying project-based learning mode in high school history,among which the application value is mainly from the perspective of students,emphasizing the combination of learning in the practice process of projectbased learning,promoting the improvement of students’ comprehensive quality by using interdisciplinary knowledge,deeply understanding the core concepts of disciplines,and developing higher-order thinking.The application principle points out from the perspective of teachers that proper application of project objectives,learning situations and information technology design should be paid attention to when carrying out history project-type learning activities.The fourth part is the general process of high school history project-based learning mode,including four steps of project determination,project implementation,project conclusion and project evaluation,covering almost all aspects of the application of project-based learning.Students push and complete the project under the guidance of teachers,and finally achieve knowledge understanding and thinking inspiration.Teachers constantly reflect on and improve the project and sum up experience to achieve a better presentation of the project.The fifth part is the teaching practice of the project-based learning mode of high school history.Based on the operation process of the fourth part,the teaching case with the theme of "Looking for the next Industrial Revolution" is designed.The four sub-projects show the students’ activities in each stage of the project completely,gradually improving the students’ accumulation of procedural knowledge to the acquisition of conceptual knowledge.Developing from low-order cognitive strategies to high-order cognitive strategies,understanding discipline concepts through highly independent exploration and teamwork,cultivating students’ core discipline qualities,and forming a broad historical vision and historical wisdom. |
