Education is the foundation of a hundred year plan.Education is the root of ethnic prosperity and the foundation of people’s livelihood.With the transformation of social economy,education has entered the era of "economy",which has gradually penetrated from cities to non urban areas.The comprehensive performance of education in different regions of the same place is also very different,as is the case in pastoral areas.Due to the sparsely populated pastoral areas,scattered living,inconvenient transportation,uneven educational resources and other reasons,the challenges faced by children in pastoral areas in the process of schooling are very different from those in no pastoral areas.In addition,there are few practical studies on pastoral education,especially on social work involved in pastoral education.In reality,the plight of this neglected group needs our attention.This paper takes two cases of D Banner in Inner Mongolia and their related subjects as the research object,and conducts research on students,immediate family members,surrounding residents,teachers and other subjects of accompanying study and boarding system through literature review,field exchanges,observation and other forms.It is found that Mongolian students in Flag D have some problems in accompanying study and boarding system,such as backward educational concept,maladjustment between individuals and their fields,uncoordinated parent-child relationship,backward hardware facilities,and lack of teachers.In addition,the challenges faced by pupils in pastoral areas in accompanying study and boarding system are far greater than those of the same type of students in no pastoral areas.In view of these problems,the author starts from the perspective of social work,based on the ecosystem theory,and according to the needs of service objects,conducts social work intervention to provide professional services for service objects.Finally,according to the field investigation and intervention,the author reflects on the case of social work intervention in the accompanying study and boarding system of pupils in pastoral areas and puts forward some personal suggestions.It is expected that relevant researchers who have great enthusiasm for the service object and ethnic social work will be helpful.
