Since 2020,the COVID-19 outbreak has lasted for three years in our country,which exerted tremendous impact on all classes of society,especially college students,who faced great physical and mental health challenges in the outbreak,resulting in negative emotions such as anxiety.In order to relieve anxiety,college students need to actively look for effective solutions,adjust their emotions,relax their mentality,and fight against the negative effects of negative emotions.This paper analyzes the expression and influencing factors of college students’ anxiety under the epidemic situation,and finds that college students’ anxiety is mainly concentrated in study,employment and interpersonal communication.During the pandemic,college students need to study at home,and lack the opportunity for classroom interaction and teachers to answer questions on the spot.Many of them feel that their study results are not good,and their test scores decline,leading to academic anxiety.Affected by the epidemic,many college students are unable to participate in activities such as internships and offline job fairs,leading to uncertain employment prospects.In addition,the epidemic has led to layoffs and recruitment freeze in some enterprises,and many graduates are faced with the problem of employment difficulties,which will cause greater anxiety about employment.During the epidemic control phase,college students had much less social activities and could not directly interact with their families and friends face to face.This relative loneliness makes many students feel anxious and lonely,especially those who are not socially skilled to begin with.Aiming at the anxiety of L students in a university under the background of the epidemic,this study carried out several cases of social work service intervention to help the service subjects understand the causes of their anxiety,and combined cognitive behavioral theory,advantage perspective theory and social support theory to enhance the confidence of the service subjects.Help the service object to master the correct learning methods,employment skills and social skills,and finally help the service object to establish the correct cognition,play their own advantages and reconstruct their social support network,improve the service object’s anxiety in study,employment and interpersonal communication.The author uses the professional methods and skills of social work to intervene in relieving the anxiety of college students under the background of the epidemic by means of case social work,and helps college students establish an optimistic attitude,spend a good school life and actively cope with various pressures.This case social work intervention effect is obvious,highlighting the social workers as a professional talent force to relieve the anxiety of college students under the background of the epidemic situation feasibility and effectiveness.
