Project based learning is a learning mode driven by solving real situation problems,closely combining tasks to actively explore and discover,independently constructing knowledge,and integrating multi domain knowledge to solve practical problems.The positive effect of this learning model on the cultivation of students’ scientific literacy has been recognized by scholars at home and abroad.However,data shows that there is still significant room for expansion in the research of project-based learning in the field of chemistry education in China from the perspective of core competencies.Therefore,based on the study of high school chemistry courses,the author conducted research on related issues of project-based learning.The content of this paper consists of five parts:The first part,through literature analysis,elaborates on the necessity of the research topic,conducts a literature review,summarizes the research achievements in the field of project-based learning,analyzes the existing shortcomings,and determines the research content and significance,research ideas and methods of the topic.The second part analyzes the connotation and characteristics,constituent elements and structure of project-based learning through data analysis and theoretical analysis methods;Based on the new curriculum standards and textbooks,analyze the content and requirements of project-based learning in high school chemistry compulsory courses and selective compulsory courses;Analyze the factors that affect project-based learning from the perspectives of students.teaching,and resources.The third part analyzes the design methods and requirements for the goals,themes,tasks,plans,and evaluations of project-based learning in high school chemistry from the perspective of core competencies through literature analysis,theoretical analysis,and case analysis.In the fourth part.based on the design process and strategy of project-based learning,and based on the high school chemistry textbook of the People’s Education Press,design project-based learning cases for "Development of Air Quality Daily","Torch Production",and "Jade Purchase Strategy".Select the schools where the cases are implemented to carry out case implementation,explore,analyze,and summarize the implementation results,and understand the rationality of the case implementation through interviews with frontline teachers.The fifth part summarizes the research results of the project,reflects on the shortcomings of the research process and results,and looks forward to future directions for further learning and research.
