Scientific achievements cannot be separated from the support of scientific spirit,which is the soul of technological innovation and development.In the latest revised curriculum standards in 2020,it is explicitly stated that the core competencies that students should possess in high school ideological and political courses include political identity,scientific spirit,rule of law awareness,and public participation,and there is a close connection between the four.Among them,the scientific spirit,as the rational dimension of the core literacy of high school ideological and political disciplines,particularly highlights the ideological nature of cultivating high school students’ civic and political literacy.Cultivating students’ scientific spirit in ideological and political courses is of great significance for the implementation of core competencies in high school ideological and political disciplines.By analyzing the scientific spirit and the scientific spirit proposed in the high school ideological and political curriculum standards,and based on the relevant theories of Marxism,constructivist learning theory,and humanistic learning theory research,it is proposed that the core connotation of scientific spirit in high school ideological and political courses mainly includes dialectical thinking quality,correct value orientation,critical questioning spirit,and practical innovation ability.Through questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews,it was found that some achievements have been made in cultivating students’ scientific spirit in ideological and political courses,but there are still some problems,including some teachers’ unclear teaching objectives for cultivating scientific spirit,some teachers’ teaching methods for cultivating scientific spirit are relatively single,and there is a lack of effective teaching evaluation system for cultivating scientific spirit.The main reasons are the lack of scientific literacy of some teachers,the influence of traditional teaching models on the cultivation of scientific spirit,and the restriction of traditional teaching evaluation models on the cultivation of scientific spirit.Based on the current investigation and teaching practice,specific optimization strategies are proposed to address the problems in cultivating scientific spirit in high school ideological and political courses,including improving the scientific spirit literacy of ideological and political teachers and optimizing teaching abilities;Clarify teaching objectives and grasp the basis for cultivating scientific spirit;Innovate classroom teaching methods and optimize the path of cultivating scientific spirit;Optimize the school’s teaching evaluation system and enhance the effectiveness of cultivating scientific spirit through four optimization strategies.Finally,taking the second box of the sixth lesson of the fourth compulsory course of high school ideological and political education,"Philosophy and Culture," "Value Judgment and Value Selection," as an applied lesson example,specific and reference examples are provided for the cultivation of scientific spirit in high school ideological and political courses. |
