Composition writing is the key content of the Chinese teaching in senior high school,and the argumentative essay is the most important type of composition teaching in senior high school.In recent years,some problems have emerged in the teaching of argumentative essay in senior high school.For example,teachers’ mechanical writing teaching is without rules and regulations;students learn argumentative essay blindly;the content of argumentative essays is empty;the hot topics of current affairs are not enough;the analysis of argumentative links of argumentative essays is not enough;students’ discursive thinking is not enough,etc.With the promulgation of the General Senior High School Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)and the unified version of senior high school Chinese textbooks,the core literacy,which takes "fostering virtue through education" as the basic task,has been paid more and more attention.In order to change the status quo of teaching argumentative essays in senior high school and to develop students’ abilities of logical thinking,language construction and dialectical thinking,a rigorous and efficient sequence of teaching argumentative essays is explored.In this study,literature research method,case study method and questionnaire method were adopted to investigate the current situation of teaching argumentative essays in senior high school.Taking into account the relevant units and topics of the unified textbook and the new curriculum standards,a complete and effective serialization strategy for argumentative essays was proposed,.In this study,there are four main parts in total.The first part is the introduction,which introduces research origin,research significance,the current situation of domestic and foreign research and research methods.The second part is the theoretical explanation of the serialization of argumentative essays,which mainly elaborates the characteristics and values of teaching argumentative essay writing,concept definition,theoretical basis and feasibility analysis.In the third part,adopting a questionnaire survey and taking some senior high schools in Harbin as subjects,the current situation of teaching argumentative essays in senior high school is investigated,and the problems and causes of the teaching of the argumentative essay are analyzed and summarized.In the fourth part,on the basis of the existing problems and causes,and taking into account the content of the new curriculum and the unified Chinese textbook,strategies and methods are proposed for the serialized teaching of argumentative essays from the thinking level and the method level respectively.At the same time,combined with relevant teaching cases,the effect of the serialization of argumentative essays is explored.The above four parts are inseparable links with different emphases,providing reference for educators in the investigation of the serialization of argumentative essays.
