With the rapid development of society,there is an urgent need for innovative talents in the construction of talent teams.In order to cultivate talents who meet the needs of the times,education needs to shoulder new responsibilities.Specifically implemented in the language discipline,with the in-depth implementation of the "General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)",the organic combination of learning task groups has become a focus of discussion in the education sector in recent years.Combining "whole book reading and discussion" with "speculative reading and expression" in the learning task group is a key way to promote the implementation of core Chinese literacy and cultivate innovative talents.In view of the long length,numerous chapters,abundant and sufficient connotation,the novel has a broad speculative space and a magnificent cultural perspective.Therefore,this article selects the perspective of speculative reading as the focus of reading teaching for the entire book of high school novels,innovates the teaching mode of reading for the entire book of high school novels through speculative reading,and proposes teaching strategies for speculative reading for the entire book of high school novels,aiming to stimulate students’ reading interest and questioning awareness,exercise the ability of speculative reading,and cultivate the thinking quality and innovative spirit of rational judgment.This article includes five parts.Firstly,it introduces the origin,significance,and methods of this study,and summarizes the existing research results.Secondly,it is an overview of the teaching of speculative reading throughout the novel,defining relevant concepts,and under the guidance of basic theories,demonstrating the necessity and value of teaching the entire book through speculative reading,in order to lay a theoretical foundation for subsequent research.Thirdly,through questionnaire and interview methods,this paper analyzes and explores the current implementation of the speculative reading teaching of the entire book of high school novels,discovers problems and attributes them,and then seeks breakthroughs in teaching innovation.Subsequently,in response to the problems found in the analysis,the author conceived and drafted from the four dimensions of thinking mode,content summary,dialectical grasp of several pairs of relationships,and general implementation path,in order to promote the effective practice of speculative reading throughout the novel.Finally,on the basis of the previous studies,this paper explores the specific and effective teaching implementation strategies,students’ ability cultivation strategies,and evaluation strategies based on the example of the entire book reading unit "A Dream of Red Mansions",which is a compulsory part of the first volume of senior high school Chinese textbooks.It is hoped to provide some feasible teaching suggestions for the teaching of speculative reading of the entire book of high school novels.
