According to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,both from the most basic teaching concepts to specific implementation methods,are moving towards diversification and rationalization.Cooperative learning organically combines exploration and learning,collective learning and training,group learning and training,and individual learning and training,and attaches great importance to the close combination of teaching theory teaching,communication and interaction and practical application of physical education,thus stimulating students’ learning enthusiasm,enabling them to better understand and master the knowledge and skills they have learned,thus improving their comprehensive ability and better solving some practical problems in the process of sports and health.Cooperative learning is an advanced educational concept,and its application will provide a good development opportunity for physical education teaching in primary schools.Cooperative learning mode is an advanced teaching concept,and its application to primary school physical education will provide a good opportunity for the development of primary school physical education reform.Basketball teaching is an important component of primary school physical education curriculum,and there are many problems in current primary school basketball teaching.How to use advanced teaching concepts as the guidance of the teaching model,and then improve the classroom quality of basketball teaching has been an urgent issue for our primary school teaching staff to solve.Therefore,this study adopted a cooperative learning model to conduct an experimental study on basketball lessons.Based on the characteristics of basketball class and students’ preferences,this paper explores basketball teaching in cooperative learning mode,providing theoretical reference for further improvement of basketball teaching in cooperative learning mode.This paper uses methods such as literature review and questionnaire survey to conduct a research on the application of cooperative learning mode in basketball teaching.104 third grade students from the Second Experimental Primary School in Dongchang District,Tonghua City are selected as subjects,divided into experimental classes(54 students)and control classes(50 students).The experimental class adopts cooperative learning mode,while the control class adopts traditional teaching mode,and experiments are conducted in two classes,To observe the impact of cooperative learning mode on improving basketball teaching effectiveness,interpersonal skills,cooperative awareness,and learning interest.Finally,by comparing and analyzing the experimental results of two classes,the following results were obtained:(1)After the experiment using the cooperative learning model as a teaching method,compared with the control group,the students in the experimental group,whether male or female,did not significantly improve their performance in the three physical quality indicators of 50 meter running,standing long jump,and sitting forward flexion.From this,it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning mode in basketball teaching does not significantly improve students’ physical quality,which may be due to the short experimental time.(2)After the cooperative learning model experiment,the students in the control group and the experimental group have significantly improved their scores in terms of sports participation and sports learning interest,and there are significant differences.From this,it can be concluded that the teaching method of sports games has a great help in improving students’ sports participation and sports learning interest.(3)After using the cooperative learning mode for teaching for a period of time,the interpersonal communication ability and cooperation awareness of the experimental group students are higher than those of the control group,indicating that using the cooperative learning mode teaching method can greatly improve students’ interpersonal communication ability and cooperation awareness.From this,it can be concluded that cooperative learning mode provides good assistance for better basketball teaching.Students can better conduct basketball learning through some more interesting cooperative learning modes,enabling them to gain fun in basketball,improve their mutual assistance,unity and cooperation abilities,and also enable them to exercise their interpersonal skills and sense of cooperation in a relaxed and enjoyable basketball teaching.(4)After adopting the cooperative learning teaching method,the students in the control group and the experimental group have significantly improved their dribbling and shooting skills,and there are significant differences.From this,it can be concluded that the cooperative learning mode teaching method is of great help to students’ basketball sports skills.
