Gaokao is a key link between basic education and higher education.Setting the subjects of Gaokao and selecting the content of Gaokao play a decisive role in the selection of high-quality and diversified talents in colleges and universities.They also play a guiding and counteracting role in basic education.The core literacy of mathematics is the evaluation standard of students’ literacy.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the core literacy in the Gaokao papers.The method of document analysis,the method of physical analysis and the method of comparative analysis were used in this study.Based on Yuping’s mathematical key ability evaluation model and combined with Curriculum Standards,the framework of the core literacy of mathematics was constructed to evaluate 16 Gaokao papers from 2017 to 2021.In terms of how Gaokao papers reflect core literacy,the research finds that:1.Gaokao papers as a whole take into account the examination of six core qualities.The weight of different literacy changes little from year to year,and the setting of the weight tends to be consistent overall.The stability of the college entrance examination paper is strong.2.The examination of core literacy at the level of knowledge understanding,knowledge transfer and knowledge innovation contained in the Gaokao papers.The weight of core literacy at each level changes little and has strong stability.3.Core literacy reflects the setting based on knowledge,guided by thought and method,and carried by situation.There is no obvious change in the weight of core literacy at different levels.4.The content tested by Gaokao is consistent with the requirements of the Curriculum Standards.The literacy of each module is generally consistent with the core literacy of each theme in the Curriculum Standards,and the distribution is stable.At the same time,it is found that the average weight of the core literacy of different modules in the test paper matches well with the class hour proportion of modules in the Curriculum Standards.The content of the test paper is set reasonably.5.Mathematical literacy is negatively correlated with mathematical operation literacy.Data analysis literacy is negatively correlated with mathematical operation literacy.Logical reasoning literacy is negatively correlated with intuitive imagination literacy.6.The Gaokao papers mainly test 2 to 4 core qualities for each question,which is comprehensive.Different core qualities include and integrate with each other.In terms of the differences in the examination of core literacy,the research found that:1.There are great differences among the examination of various core literacy,and the balance of each literacy is insufficient.Gaokao attaches most importance to the examination of mathematical operation literacy,followed by logical reasoning literacy and mathematical literacy.Data analysis literacy and mathematical modeling literacy have less weight.2.Gaokao papers mainly test the core quality under the level of knowledge transfer,followed by the level of knowledge understanding,and finally the level of knowledge innovation.3.Gaokao papers mainly test the core quality under the problem situation,followed by the level of mathematical knowledge,and finally the level of mathematical thinking.It reflects the transition trend of Gaokao from knowledge oriented to ability oriented.According to the research results,the following suggestions are put forward:1.In terms of college entrance examination,we should pay attention to the reasonable distribution of ’Siyi’ and strengthen the examination of innovation and application.We should pay attention to the reasonable distribution of ’three aspects’ and strengthen the examination of mathematical thinking.We should deal with the reasonable distribution of ’three levels’ and strengthen the examination of the level of knowledge understanding and the level of knowledge innovation.2.In terms of the revision of curriculum standards,experts should be organized to futher develop an evaluation index system of mathematics core literacy with strong operability and more standard and then continuously evaluate and form an algorithm.3.In the aspect of teachers’ teaching,it is necessary to pay attention to the integration of literacy teaching and strengthen students’ understanding of the essence of literacy.Teachers should pay attention to the development of students’ ability and thinking training to promote the comprehensive implementation of the core quality.It is necessary to dig deep into the core quality materials in the textbook and give full play to the guiding role of Gaokao in teaching.
