China’s economy has entered a stage of high-quality development,and the speed of industrial transformation and upgrading has accelerated,forcing vocational education to upgrade.Professional Higher Education Institutions have taken an important step in exploring and developing vocational education at the undergraduate level.As the leader of the construction of Professional Higher Education Institutions,professional construction plays an important role.It is helpful to find out how the professional construction of Professional Higher Education Institutions is carried out and provide learning experience.Based on this,through the case study of the only public Professional Higher Education Institution in Jiangsu Province,the professional construction system of N University is divided into professional personnel training system,curriculum system,teaching system,teaching staff system and condition guarantee system,and summarizes the revolutionary practice of the five subsystems of professional construction after the upgrading of N University.In terms of Professional personnel training system,the school has set the goal of "five characteristics and three natures" to train innovative,complex and profound highlevel technical and technical talents.In terms of curriculum system,the school has built a modular curriculum system and an innovative curriculum system,paying attention to the connection between curriculum content and enterprise production practice,and cultivating students’ innovative and entrepreneurial ability.In terms of teaching system,the school has constructed a practical teaching system and promoted the reform of project-based teaching,and promoted students to master the key core skills of solving real cases by means of project implementation.In the aspect of teaching staff system,the school strengthens the construction of teaching staff through "three transformations and three integrations",focusing on cultivating the quality of teachers with dual qualifications.In terms of the condition guarantee system,the school has established a master skills studio,an industrial technology research institute,an industrial college and a university science park to promote the practical ability of teachers and students.On the basis of dismantling each subsystem of professional construction,and summarizing the experience of professional construction of vocational undergraduate course in N University,we can find that N University follows the training plan of vocational education talent cultivation logic,and needs to build a curriculum system to serve the transformation and upgrading of the industry,train students’ practical skills by connecting with the production process of enterprises,and build a mixed teaching team and a school-enterprise co-construction support system to deepen cooperation.However,there are also some problems,such as the generalization of educational objectives,the imperfect dynamic adjustment mechanism of curriculum system,the imperfect teaching evaluation system,the need to update the teacher management mechanism and the limited conditions for students’ internship and training.In view of the specific problems in the professional construction of N University,it is urgent to actively promote the school to clarify the logic of professional development,accurately locate the training objectives of vocational education talents,promote the dynamic adjustment of professional courses for vocational undergraduates,improve the teaching evaluation system,standardize the regulations on teacher management,and meet the requirements of enterprise posts to ensure students’training.
