| With the rapid progress of our country in the fields of economy,science and technology,the comprehensive national strength has also been continuously improved,and the country has paid more and more attention to the health of the people.However,the physical health of college students in our country is not optimistic,the rate of overweight and obesity is increasing,and the physical quality of college students has always been a problem.Therefore,how to improve the physical health level of college students has become one of the urgent tasks to be solved in domestic colleges and universities,and has also become a topic of concern and research in the field of physical education.In recent years,scholars have carried out a lot of research on high-intensity interval training,and found that this training method is helpful to the development of the body speed,strength,endurance.explosive power and other aspects,and has a remarkable effect on improving the body’s physical fitness.Throughout the relevant literature,the experimental research of high-intensity interval training on the development of sports quality of college students involves basketball,football,volleyball,tennis,etc.,but the practical application of high-intensity interval training in badminton is relatively small,and its influence on the special sports quality of badminton and the specific practical application research are not sufficient,which is worthy of further exploration.The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of high intensity interval training on the physical health level of college badminton optional course students,and to investigate the positive significance of this training method on the badminton special sports quality of college students.Therefore,this study adopted the methods of literature review,expert interview,mathematical statistics and experiment,and selected 42 students from the 2021 badminton optional course of Changzhou Polytechnic of Engineering as the experimental subjects.They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group.The experimental group received high-intensity interval training,and the control group received routine training for an 8-week training intervention.Then,the changes in the values of the two groups of test items before and after the experiment were compared and analyzed,and the following experimental results,conclusions and suggestions were obtained.Experimental results:(1)In terms of body shape,there was no difference in height index between the experimental group and the control group after an 8-week intervention(P>0.05);The experimental group had a very significant difference in body weight index(P<0.001),the control group had a significant difference in body weight index(P<0.01).(2)In terms of physical function,after an 8-week intervention,the experimental group had a significant difference in the vital capacity index(P<0.001),while the control group had a difference in the vital capacity index(P<0.05).(3)In terms of physical fitness,after an 8-week intervention,the experimental group had significant differences in 50m,standing long jump,men’s 1000m and women’s sit-up indexes(P<0.001),while there were differences in women’s 800m indexes(P<0.05).There was no difference between seated forward bend and male pull-up index(P>0.05).In the control group,there were significant differences in 1000m index of men(P<0.001),significant differences in 800m index of women(P<0.01),and no differences in 50m index,standing long jump index,sitting forward bend index,women’s sit-up index and men’s pull-up index(P>0.05).(4)In terms of badminton special sports quality,the experimental group had significant differences in the left and right movement and vertical jump height indexes(P<0.001),while the control group had no differences in the two indexes(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Compared with conventional training,high-intensity interval training can more effectively improve the physical health level of badminton optional class students.The results are as follows:in terms of body shape and body function,the improvement of body weight and vital capacity index is more significant;In terms of physical fitness,the improvement effect of 50 meters,standing long jump and women’s sit-up index is more significant.(2)There was no interaction effect between high-intensity interval training and regular training on women’s 800 meters,men’s 1000 meters,height,sitting forward bend and men’s pull-up.(3)Compared with conventional training,high-intensity interval training can improve the special sports quality of college students in badminton optional courses more effectively.Specifically,high intensity interval training produced significant differences in the left-right movement and vertical jump height indexes,but there was no difference in the conventional training group.(4)In addition to height and seated flexion indexes,the improvement effect of high-intensity interval training on physical health and special exercise ability of students of different genders was also better than that of the conventional training group.Advice:(1)For the physical fitness training of college students,we can try to use high-intensity interval training to improve the physical health level of college students and enrich the methods of physical education training in colleges and universities.(2)Before using high-intensity interval training,the trainer should be evaluated before training,so as to design an appropriate exercise prescription according to the basic condition of the trainer’s physical fitness.(3)In the teaching of badminton optional courses in colleges and universities,high-intensity interval training can be organically combined with conventional training methods.This can not only give full play to the advantages of high-intensity interval training,but also combine the benefits of conventional training methods,so as to better improve the physical health level of college students and badminton sports quality. |
