With the rapid development of contemporary basketball, the offensive and defensive pace of basketball games continues to accelerate, and the number of rounds continues to increase.Basketball games require increasingly high movement speed and agility of players on the court. At the same time, basketball is becoming increasingly popular in colleges and universities, but students’ cognitive level and technical level of basketball are uneven, and it is easy to ignore physical fitness exercises, thereby limiting the improvement of students’ technical level. As one of the most commonly used training methods for athletes to develop rapid lower limb strength nowadays, researchers have used ploymetrics in basketball sports, and have applied it more widely among professional athletes and sports students, and have achieved relatively rich results, but little research has been conducted among ordinary college students. In order to test the effect of ploymetrics applied to college students, this study will explore the impact of 12 weeks of ploymetrics on the movement speed and sensitivity of college students in public sports basketball optional courses, thereby providing a basis for the application of ploymetrics in the future public sports basketball optional course student group. This study uses the methods of literature review, expert interviews, questionnaires, experiments, and mathematical statistics to analyze the impact of ploymetrics on the movement speed and sensitivity of college students in basketball optional courses.Students in the 2022 basketball optional course of Yangzhou University were selected as the experimental subjects and randomly divided into two groups,an experimental class and a control class, with 30 people in each group. The experimental group received 12 weeks of ploymetrics, while the control group received 12 weeks of traditional resistance training, twice a week. Before and after the experimental intervention, the subjects were evaluated with five movement speed indicators(20m running,50m running, triangle sliding,4× 10m round trip dribbling, full court dribble layups)and five sensitive quality evaluation indicators(T-shaped run,Illinois test, cross quadrant jump,AFL ball test, and dribble around the pole)will be analyzed to obtain the experimental data, and the experimental results are as follows:(1)After 12 weeks of ploymetrics, the experimental group had significant differences in the test scores of the five moving speed evaluation indicators(P<0.01),as well as significant differences in the test scores of the five sensitive quality evaluation indicators(P<0.01).(2)In the control group, after 12 weeks of traditional resistance strength training, there were highly significant differences in the scores of three movement speed evaluation indexes(20m,4×10m round-trip dribbling,full-court dribbling and lay-up)(P<0.01)and 50m run and evaluation indexes was significantly different(P<0.05),and the triangle slide evaluation index test were not significantly different(P>0.05);in terms of agility quality, there were highly significant differences in the scores of three agility quality In terms of agility quality, the scores of three agility index tests(Illinois test,AFL with ball test, and dribbling around the pole)were very significantly different(P<0.01),the scores of cross quadrant jump evaluation index test were significantly different(P<0.05),and the scores of T-run evaluation index test were not significantly different(P>0.05).(3)The experimental group performed better than the control group in five movement speed evaluation indicators and five sensitive quality evaluation indicators, and the improvement was greater than the control group.Research conclusions:(1)Ploymetrics can effectively improve the movement speed of college students in basketball optional courses. After 12 weeks of experiment, the experimental group’s five movement speed indicators test scores have significantly improved.(2)Ploymetrics can effectively improve the sensitive quality of college students in basketball optional courses. After 12 weeks of experiment, the test scores of the five sensitive quality indicators in the experimental group have significantly improved.(3)After 12 weeks of intervention with two different training methods, combined with the data obtained from the experiment and the graph of changes in the relevant indexes,it can be seen that the ploymetrics training has a more obvious effect on the improvement of mobile speed and agility quality of basketball option college students than the traditional resistance training.Research suggestions:(1)In the teaching of public sports basketball optional courses,it is necessary to add ploymetrics, follow the principle of gradual progress to set the intensity of exercise, and increase the interest of training methods in the class. However,it is not necessary to abandon traditional resistance training, but rather to combine and effectively complement each other, enriching and efficient public sports teaching training methods.(2)Before using ploymetrics,it is necessary to evaluate the training level of students and conduct corresponding training based on their physical functional status. In training,it is necessary to design training methods and loads based on the actual characteristics of basketball events and the physical qualities of students. It is necessary to gradually develop from low intensity to high intensity, and improve students’ athletic ability by changing training methods from simple to complex.(3)It is feasible to introduce ploymetrics into college physical education courses, which can effectively improve students’ basketball level. The content of college physical education courses should continuously absorb advanced theories and excellent training methods, seek more efficient curriculum content that conforms to college physical education courses, and safeguard the improvement of college students’ physical fitness level and the formation of lifelong sports habits. |
