With the development of PISA test,discontinuous text has gradually attracted the attention of the majority of front-line Chinese teachers.In 2011,discontinuous text was officially included in the category of Chinese teaching.However,the academic research on discontinuous texts is not comprehensive enough,and the research results are not perfect enough,especially the cross-media reading teaching of discontinuous texts,few studies.At present,there are still many deficiencies in the teaching of cross-media reading of non-continuous Chinese texts in the middle and junior high schools:the teaching objectives are not clear enough,the teaching content is not rich enough,the teaching methods are more traditional,the teaching evaluation is not scientific enough and so on.Aiming at the problems existing in cross-media reading teaching of non-continuous text in junior middle school,this study puts forward optimization strategies from the following four aspects.First,in the establishment of teaching objectives,teachers should first be familiar with the curriculum standards,understand the specific requirements of the curriculum standards for cross-media reading teaching of discontinuous text,and formulate teaching objectives according to the requirements of the curriculum standards.Secondly,we should be familiar with the physical and mental characteristics,cognitive ability,knowledge and experience of middle and junior high school students,and formulate teaching objectives according to the actual situation of students.Finally,it is necessary to consider the uniqueness of cross-media reading and non-continuous text,and formulate teaching objectives according to text characteristics.Secondly,in terms of the expansion of teaching content,it advocates the use of multiple media resources to enrich the non-continuous text reading teaching content,including paper media resources,life media resources and multimedia media resources.In terms of the utilization of paper media resources,not only the resources in Chinese textbooks of junior middle school can be used,but also the contents in textbooks should be created and edited,and the resources of other disciplines should be integrated to develop non-continuous texts and form new non-continuous text resources.In the utilization of life media resources,it emphasizes the application of knowledge,and applies discontinuous text to life,so that students can learn life.In terms of the use of multimedia resources,it is proposed that teachers should be good at using various media platforms to expand the scope of their own non-continuous text reading and enrich the teaching content of non-continuous text reading.Thirdly,in terms of teaching methods,teachers should change the traditional teaching methods of non-continuous text reading,understand the functions of various media,improve their own and students’ media literacy,introduce various media platforms into non-continuous text reading teaching,and innovate teaching methods.Fourthly,in teaching evaluation,the evaluation subject should be diversified.Besides teachers and students,parents and social personnel can also participate in the evaluation.The evaluation method should be scientific and reasonable,emphasizing the combination of process evaluation and terminal evaluation,qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation.Evaluation content should consider comprehensiveness and comprehensiveness to promote the overall development of students.
